They...couldn’t find any stories to turn into a film that were written by a gay person? 🙄 Feels like a weird kind of erasure. Idk.

Yep, I’m one of those WOC who was in the black here on Jez for a long, long time then sent to the grays  for questioning the point of one article.

Vasa Museet is a must.

The book it’s based on was written by a straight guy and it is full of gay tropes including that one.

The sexual relationship between the 24 and 17-year-old bothered the heck out of me, too. I feel like people were ignoring it because Europe! or something, but nah, it is weird and inappropriate.

Damon is the posterboy for white male entitlement emboldened by aggrandized mediocrity.

I hope Jimmy Kimmel really goes to town messing with him at the oscars.

Phantom Thread should be mocked for being so goddamn thirsty for an Oscar.

I am saying a big part of his job is interviews.

I’m confused as to when he started thinking he was the authority on anything.

I just love her. It’s a fine cover. Nothing especially amazing, but I like it.

I appreciate your enthusiasm!

Sounds fantastic!

I am so here for any and all Matt Damon hate.

It’s funny how thoroughly King’s Speech has been forgotten about, though.

You can thank Weinstein for that, too.

Please, do not feed the trolls, people!
