As long as we’re doing unpopular opinions, I prefer Aquaman to WW. I can concede that WW is probably the “better movie” (whatever that means), but I had so much more fun with Aquaman it’s not even close. I think part of it was its willingness to embrace its cheesy, dumb over-the-top tone.

my favorite was “eerily prophetic,” because if you are saying that about a movie that hasn’t actually been released yet it would require you to definitely know what’s going to happen in the future.

I recently watched Christine for the first time and I was hoping to see it on here. I’ve never been a particularly huge King fan but that movie in particular seems to really capture what I’ve enjoyed about his work. There’s a kind of absurdity to it, but presented with a very straight face and attention to character…

This looks good. On a related note, we’re getting more of The Last Kingdom which I’d give a strong recommend for anyone who likes this kind of medieval action drama stuff.
