That’s really cool, thanks! I’m glad it pointed out the falling asleep time as opposed to getting in bed time. I get to bed early and then read for 3 hours. :-/

Do you have one of these for adults? I feel like having this posted next to my computer would help me go to bend instead of “I’ll just play one more game”. Also, I can’t do basic math.

If their shitty graphics rendering skills are any indication of their military prowess, we have nothing to worry about.

My wife bought me one of these for a birthday present. This review is spot on, the toy is really good. Also, I’ve gotten significantly more uses than 50 out of it and it hasn’t shown any signs of deterioration, I just take really good care of it.

As someone planning a road trip, this article was.... interesting and exciting.

Sweet video! I’ve long wanted to get into swords and HEMA, but never really got the motivation to do so. After playing Witcher, I got the motivation, I bought a sword and have been practicing form at home so I can go enroll in the local HEMA facility.

My wife and I will have to check this out. We don’t have a headboard so it kind of limits where we can currently tie things.

An old outdoorsman tip for if you do end up using rope. If the knot becomes too tight to loosen, bend/fold the knot back and forth many times, it will help loosen it up a lot. Useful for getting

Then the kid looked at me while I was pushing one out, and he was like, “I don’t like these smells.” YOU’RE THE ONE WHO ASKED TO COME IN, KIDDO.

I’ve been loving these concept art posts. Any possibility of focusing on UI design at all? It’s a field I’m looking to break into and I’m having trouble finding a lot of good resources for it.

Little Beach on Maui. It was mainly old surfer dudes with leather skin, or older women.

I love these videos. I’m glad someone else knows about them.

It’s likely that the helicopters are funded by tax payers, although I think this largely depends on where you live. Usually those are operated by the sheriff in that county. But for the SAR volunteers that I work with, definitely pay all of their own fuel for their own vehicles.

Most SAR units (at least where I live) are entirely staffed by volunteers. Even assuming you’re paying for some of it out of taxes, it would be a very small amount relative to a lot of other (likely stupid) things that you pay for with taxes.

I wonder where exactly in Washington this is? I live right near the national forest in Washington and go hiking all the time. Every time I think it looks like a fantasy world, especially all the craggy rocks.

I know I’m late to the game and this is unrelated to the article, but I’d love an article about the job of being a sex therapist. And what path it takes to get there. I think I’d be good at it... maybe in another life :)

Unfortunately living in Seattle, this would only work for a couple months out of the year. :(

Haha it really isn’t that bad. Although some areas of the country are certainly worse than others.

Yeah I know the curriculum changes based on where you go, but it seems like this is one thing that should be standardized! Luckily I had a good parent that taught me personal economics!

Haha, you from Canada? Contrary to the stereotype we really do have quite an educated population. It’s just the idiots get all the attention and we have quite a few idiots.

I graduated six years ago, from a school in Ohio. It was regarded as one of the best school systems in the state. We weren’t required to have a personal finance class...
