My personal experience with picking locks is that the cheaper ones were usually easier. If they were cheaper AND older, they were especially easy. The cheap/old ones springs and pins seem to be more easily worn down making it simpler to pick.

My wife and I recently got really well paying, professional jobs right out of college. My in-laws thought we were in a bad financial situation and kept offering us money and stuff. We weren’t sure how to bring up the fact that we make more than them now. Mostly we just thanked them but declined until they stopped

As someone playing in an adult hockey league, I’d love more articles about sports fitness/coaching/management, etc. This was really intersting, thanks!

Anywhere in particular you want to move? I started by ruling out the places that I knew that I wouldn’t want to live and then looked at the options. Depending on your industry (for example tech; Seattle, SF, etc.), that could point you in the right direction too.

I moved to Seattle a couple years ago from the east coast with my wife and pets. We drove the entire way, took about 5 days, but it was actually really fun. We got a POD to transfer all of our stuff, after pricing it out, it was the cheapest/easiest option.

We didn’t have jobs in Seattle, so we just saved a 1.5 year’s

Note to self: Don’t get into a house I can’t afford, stay in a job for 15 years and become that guy who attacks authors on the internet.

Depends on your position, but check out the Seattle Times. I work there and it’s actually a really nice job.

Fuck, I didn’t know this. Is this reported anywhere? It seems like a lot of “restructuring” happening around the Gawker blogs lately.

Sometimes he just needs a reminder that he doesn’t really run the house as much as he thinks he does. If that reminder comes in the shape of a 12” cucumber and funny video, then all the better!

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one thinking this. I play with/scare my cat all the time and he’s totally normal. I think people coddle their cats a little too much sometimes. Btw, tried the cucumber thing and my just looked at it and then gave me an insolent stare... like normal.

Browns fan here. Can confirm. But hey at least we have the Columbus Bluejackets right? Oh wait... But hey at least we have the Indians right? Oh wait... Cavs?.......

So is this kind of like a Ren Faire, but with only ninjas? Come to think of it, that would be pretty sweet. I really want to visit Japan.

I can’t figure out how to swap mods between guns. I have two different rifles and I want to switch the scope from one to the other. They both use the scope. Am I missing a control? On the PC if that matters.

Awesome, great advice, thanks!

That’s not a bad idea at all actually. Google recommends it as an alternate route, and I’d rather add on a couple minutes and have it be a more relaxing drive. 405 during rush hour ALWAYS seems backed up.

Nice, that sounds like a good gig. Have an “in” with any people still working there? :) I’ve been keeping an eye on their job postings, would love to not have to commute to Seattle every day and be able to do something in the outdoor industry.

Is Creative Services within the graphic design/web design realm? That’s where I’d like to get into. Seems like they have some decent jobs posted every once in a while.

Hmm usually it tells me to go 405 to 167, but 18 might not be a bad idea. Looks a little out of the way, but it might be less crowded.

I really want to work in the corporate office as well. Live in Issquah myself so the commute would probably suck. But it wouldn’t suck any worse than any other commute around here I would think.
