Maybe it’s because I’m younger but with my friends I hug all of them. With coworkers OTOH, I leave it up to them for a while until I know them better to figure out their preference.

I think more of the contradictions come from the people that choose to selectively read and preach it, but separating those Christians out tends to be an exercise in futility...
Missed seasons shouldn’t preclude anyone from being left out though. If they played in parts of 2 seasons 20 years apart and each half had a cumulative WAR of 45+ that would include someone like Williams or players that were very dominant but hindered by injuries where they lost full seasons. Bonus points definitely…
They probably got Toyota to put a new frame on for free then resold for $22-24k
Fit and finish on used Frontiers is generally terrible (and that’s enough for me to say no) and from anecdotal experience they are not even close to as reliable. The aftermarket is also a lot bigger for Tacos and with essentially the same truck made for 10+ years everyone knows how to fix them if they do break and…
This is spot on and I think the Devil’s Advocate Dem (read: the usually white voter that prefers to call themselves a progressive and speak in technical terms rather than identify with the party and the people they claim to be looking out for) you are absolutely right to dismiss. Too much blame is passed on to the…

Didn’t see this one but I just use the lonely single slot side of my cheese grater that I got from the clearance rack in Marshalls. I’m cheap is what I’m saying and they get pretty thin now that I realigned the slot with a hammer...
We used to do it with our big turkey/fish fryer with the peanut oil and from what I’ve heard you can keep reusing it as long as it’s fairly free of particulates. I read about a restaurant that was still on it’s original oil though I don’t think I’m that bold or honed in my flavors that it would matter much.
Good to know. I filter it back into an old container every few days, so I wonder if that helps. Also I have a separate bottle that I only use and reuse for fried pickles since it tends to smell like pickles after.
That is a great idea. I want to do jalapeno poppers too. I have mixed feelings about trying to do any meats in it (chicken tenders, wings, etc.) but I’m always worrying about the internal temp, do I have to change the oil more often, and all that. Do you have any experience?
Yes but he didn’t have the same recurring injury haunting him the way others did and he still played 1000+ NHL games over 20 years and 17 seasons. Then look at what he has done since retirement and the public face he is able to be. I doubt some of the guys that played around the same time could string full sentences…
I hate him as a player, but I don’t wish the Chris Pronger life on anybody.
Part of Lemieux’s legacy was his longevity in an era that saw countless great players go down early to knee and head injuries. Fuck, Neely did 50 in 50 back then, but nobody ever remembers because he had to take every 3rd night off to deal with his knees. I have a hard time believing Crosby will sustain his greatness…
I highly suggest getting a mandolin and a fry press for the best chips and easy fries. Also, don’t forget a good salt brine first. I’ve branched out to fried green beans and pickles.
Here in New England we prefer to make our own clamato juice, which has the added benefit of eating delicious seafood with brunch
