Lord, the 4400 was so good. All over the place, but a fun show.

Gotham Central was one of my favorites (right up there with Gotham Knights.)

So before the BBC became a thing over here in the states, they had this short-lived show called Ultraviolet, starring some up and coming actor named Idris Elba (plus Jack Davenport!) Mr. King should check it out.

I just don’t understand what the appeal of an R-rated Star Trek would be, exactly.

I did realize something funny about him yesterday. He’s the last one left.

Her visual style is a sexed up version of a stage magician.

You could cast cheaper (and better) actors for both Cruise’s role and Crowe’s role, that would have been a good start.

The idea that the Suicide Squad isn’t doing morally questionable covert missions but rather fighting super villains shows that WB doesn’t have a clue what to do with their characters. They just design action set pieces and “cool moments” that they contort the characters and plot around.

The end of the show has to be Rick dying. It’s the only capstone, as it started with him waking up. Logically, after he sacrifices himself to save the rest of his posse, and we see Carl and Judith getting away to continue fighting the good fight.

Ehn, I am okay with it, in a Squadron Supreme-like fashion. If these other characters aren’t well-known in the Wild Storm Verse, as long as there’s a reason, we can get different takes on them, and that can lead to interesting stories.

Of those movies, the latest came out twenty-eight years ago. Picture the year you were born, and then look at movies from twenty-eight years before that, and let me know how well-versed you are with them. (For me, that’s be 1945, just to make sure you know I am with you on the “yes, we’re old” train.)

Hanks has been

The answer is “because 1988.”

Uh, so they didn’t have to wait 22 hours between shoots?

‘Flammable’ and ‘inflammable’ disagree.

I couldn’t tell if the author was drunk or trolling here.

Excuse me, Night Thrasher is Batman with a skateboard. Show some respect.

It’s basically the Avengers version of Teen Titans

Scott can make fantastic films. He can also made completely mediocre films. The problem is that he describes them both the same, and I honestly don’t think he can tell the difference.
