Implying you’re more likely to die in a Tesla than in other cars? I’m pretty sure that’s false.. how about looking up some actual data instead of just spouting old opinions over and over every time somebody wrecks a Tesla?

Trying to prove my theory that rental cars can do ANYTHING?
“Business is bad? F you, pay me.
Had a fire? F you, pay me.”
F1 is like the mob. They take all the TV money, the merch licensing, and still expect to get a big payment from every venue no matter how boring the racing might be or how broken the rules are, pissing off the fans.
“nice-looking” ... um, no. It looks like a depressed Citroen. If I have to see one of those outside my house every day I’ll have to plant some shrubberies to block the view. Anyone know a good shrubber?
The grills really are awful. The decline of the M3 started with the F80. The angry headlights, Idrive that can’t keep a working Bluetooth connection, worse navigation interface, and of course the end of natural aspiration. Bring back small grills, round headlights, and drop the turbos in favor of hybrid motors that…
Famous last words: “This is a cool way to die!”
Since most educated people didn’t vote for the current administration, no, they don’t want a well educated populace.
Totally makes sense when a reflector is separate from the regular tail- or head-light assembly which already has a reflector in it, and the replacement is body-color. Or when replacing the US-amber front reflectors on a white/silver/grey/black car with the euro-spec white reflectors. In both cases, you’re not losing…
Also they’re a real thing in sportscar racing, which is what the Mach 5 does. And INDYCAR, where the correct number of people go over the wall, unlike F1 and NASCAR, which send ridiculously too many or too few people to carry external jacks.
I’m wondering the same thing. I don’t see it in the configurator. Do you just show up at a dealer with a bag of cash and yell “take my money!”?
If they need to simplify their lineup I suggest offering only two choices of drivetrain: pure electric, or the wonderful supercharged V8. Everything in between is a waste of resources.
FYI, the Tesla Fremont plant is not a “Gigafactory”, it’s just a factory. You’ll have to think of some other way to make fun of them this time.
Texas has to have some of the most ridiculous auto sales laws anywhere.
When do we get a 4-door version?
Still have those TRX wheels? A high school buddy had one of those. I have to say I liked my ‘82 “5.0” better!
I know of what you speak. I am sad that for something like the third time in 30 years I won’t be Back Home Again in Indiana this weekend :(
That’s it, that’s all, I’m Done.
Funny, I think a lot of Jalopnik articles are bitchy lately. I know there’s not much new and good car stuff around, but they seem to be looking for anything to complain about.
I guess I woke up in a world where Tesla never happened? Is there a rule now that Jalopnik can’t say anything about them unless it’s bad news?
It’s totally possible to bring the drivers and crew in on charter flights and buses with no contact. But the corner workers are all locals so any incident is going to bring drivers in contact with them. And they won’t be able to get money from the venues like normal since the venues won’t be bringing in any revenue…
