I propose they call it the Plymouth Barracuda by Dodge. In this way other classic nameplates can be revived without sounding too too wrong.

This thread is tasty.

Obviously there are too many problems to overcome with magnets so I propose anti-gravity generators as a more practical solution.

What I need is a horizontal periscope that extends from the trunk so I can peek around the giant SUVs and pickup trucks to see if I'm about to get t-boned when backing out of a parking space.

Ford Mustang.

Diesel manual wagon? I thought that was the holy grail? Why all the CP?

The Lorax was one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books as a kid - this movie looks like it is to The Lorax the book as I, Robot the movie was to anything Asimov actually wrote down on paper.

Yes and no.

Not 18, as in long past the age anymore where males get brutalized by insurance companies.

They can try if they want to - lol, no one is sitting behind me, unless they're a double amputee above the knee.

Right, 95 horses was par for the era but a Porsche should expect to be able to outproduce the output of mundane, mass-market passenger cars as well as provide an engine with more sporting character.

Has anyone mentioned the Porsche 924's Audi/VW sourced 2.0L 8V I4? 95HP in original trim and upped to a slightly less pitiful 110HP a year or two later - emmisionless Euro models wrung out a not completely unimpressive for the time 125 horses from it. Rough and noisy was how it was described and best suited for the VW

I'm not bothering with headers until I pull the motor out or drop the K-member.

That's a SOHC 3-valve 4.6L pictured there - nothing wrong with those, other than Ford should've come up with those heads earlier.

Yep, the plan for transverse packaging plus the thinking at the time that a long stroke, small bore design would be easier to get through emissions led to the Modular family's biggest shortcoming which was it's ridiculously tall and wide size with very little room for displacement growth and not much room for decently

If that Tom Cruise lettering will come off clean then I'll take it.

It's subtle but the spoiler makes a big improvement.

Romantic rendezvous you say? Something with fold flat seating :D

I love Mustangs and all but we know what a GT500 looks like and we know what an S197 convertible looks like so I don't get what all the suspense is about - it's a GT500 with the roof cut off, or, a convertible with a body kit, if you prefer?
