Is it a “Smart TV”? Because I don’t have any need for a Smart TV. I want something I can just plug my hdmi cable in and be done with. My Xbox One X will take care of all the details and apps and such. I hate paying extra for “Smart” features I don’t want and will never use.

Yeah, it only got worse from there. The third one was a miserable slog. The second one had some good moments with the dragon but that’s about it. (It also had some terrible moments with the dragon)

I’m going to stop you right there, because not only was John Carter a great movie (grossly underappreciated), but the framing device in that movie worked brilliantly, and made the whole thing more moving. Don’t EVEN compare it to the mess that is The Hobbit.

Fun fact, though... the oxygen only flows for maybe 10 minutes. Then it runs out. It’s just enough to give the plane time to lower its altitude to a breathable height. So if they were wearing the for more than 10 minutes, or it took longer than 10 minutes for the pilots to notice and lower the plane’s altitude enough,…

The lead character in Grimm was excellent and awesome. Juliette was awful in all incarnations, but especially the original bland annoying wife. Ugh.

I miss Grimm. Evil Juliette was okay. Original Juliette was awful.

I hated her character for most of Grimm. So I’m not excited by this at all.

Henry Cavill is not the problem with Superman or the DC Universe.

I almost hate to say it, given how much I loved her in other Marvel Shows, but the absence of Claire was also a huge plus for Season 2 of Iron Fist. She was AWFUL in Season 1. Iron Fist 2 was far better for her absence.

Excellent write-up. I have little to add other than the actor who plays Ward was equally as good with another very layered, complex character in “Banshee”, one of the more under-rated TV Shows ever made (A Cinemax series that ended a few years back). He was only in the last couple of seasons, but he was a stand-out…

You absolutely must watch season 2.

Oh please, Ward was terrible in the first season, but he’s really good in the second season. 

Iron Fist season 2 is *shockingly* better than season 1. A wonderful surprise. And man, the final 3 episodes are just great. Of course, season 1 was literally terrible, but it’s great to see them right the ship, and fix all the problems, and come out with such a strong sophomore result. Now I can’t wait for season 3!

Scott Pilgrim is easily my favorite movie ever. I’ve seen it at least 50 times. I carry it with me at all times, on my phone, on my tablet, on my laptop, it’s on my desktop, I own the DVD, and the soundtrack. I’m pretty sure it’s the best movie ever made. 

The original Punisher movie starred Thomas Jane, who played the Vegan Police in Scott Pilgrim.
