The problem is, why the hell does a single player game, which I'll NEVER play on line, prevent me from playing because of server issues? Horrible design.

I couldn't play it for a WEEK after release... how is that more "finished" that almost every other PC release? It wasn't just buggy... I couldn't even START TO PLAY. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

No, I don't think I am. Alien Resurrection wasn't great, but at least it was more or less internally consistent, with a coherent plot, and was relatively entertaining.
