Jalopnik has a problem only when rich people pay over MSRP for a Bronco but not a GT3 Touring.

“Despite what many people may say or think, none of this is ok.”
statistically many of the people who “need” a loan, need to borrow money like they need another hole in their head.
Back in the day, I used to try to double corner speed signs, with occasional success, in my Bugeye Sprite. Probably the only reason I did not die in the attempt was that the car had a top speed of slightly over 80 mph, so I could not double any sign over 40 mph.
There needs to be an official term for the multiplier applied to yellow speed limit signs. The Canyon Coefficient? Example: “These new sway bars took my Miata’s canyon coefficient from 1.8 to over 2? Would recommend.”
I will sometimes try and double the yellow sign around a curve, but 10x!?!?
How many people have read the history of the Deep South? By traditional measures, the biggest cities in the South should be right on the Tennessee River. Chattanooga in particular should be huge with a good port to the TN river right next to a good pass through the mountains. It should be the Saint Louis of the area.
Yeah that's a real racist position right there.
Want to know what else is an endemic problem in North America? People who think they should be able to do whatever the hell they want to and not have any consequences. Want fewer newsworthy police stories? Give them a reason to be defunded, such as stop acting like a bunch of damn animals.
Drove from Denver to Co Springs once in a rental 4-cyl NA Legacy, with just me and an overnight bag. Could not believe how hard it was to keep freeway speeds just through Monument Pass. It was like a Prius with the battery depleted (done that too).
“You will go over the rockies” ... eventually. You will have trouble with maintaining anything resembling the speed limit given your car now has about 120 horsepower. You will piss everyone else off, including truckers, especially when you decide you need knobby tires and a roof tent that you never use while you drive…
CCC enacted in 1933 put hundreds of thousands of young men to work on conservation projects. Their efforts ended the dust bowl.
(2) a swift retreat from big trucks and SUVs by consumers, because paying a lot for gas sucks
This would never work out for me. I’d annoy the staff endlessly. Hanging out in the engine room “Hey guys, need help changing the oil?” or on the bridge “Hey guys, can I drive for a while?”
“wine cellar and tasting room in the bow of the ship.”
It’s the new fire response mode. It was trying to drive itself to the fire station.
I’ll take things you think but don’t say for 800 Alex.
Yeah I went NP too. You’ll likely never see another one, and italian leather over Mustang running gear? Why not if you’ve got the scratch. I like it weird.
Totally worked!
Thanks for the (very interesting!) story. Not exactly a lot on my local CL to compare this to! I’m going NP. Italian, never see another one, make (weird) friends at Cars and Coffee- Va Bene!
