Neutral: Funny that one of the headline pics on Jalopnik would be a Jaguar i-Pace today, because I saw one while I was on the way home from work last night. It was orange in color and turned into the neighborhood just East of mine. I can’t remember if I’ve seen any others in town but if I had, that would be like...

I’ll give you two tools! 10mm socket and 9mm hex key.

There is no terrestrial force that could make anything with that interior worth $100k.

Not to be a one-upper, but possibly an easier stop & go manual was my ‘06 Wrangler. It had the 4L straight 6 & 6mt. I only used first gear in traffic jams and off-road :)

Two cars ago, I owned a manual transmission Honda Accord. When I sold it with 111,000 miles on the clock, its original brake pads still had half their material left. Engine I did a lot of highway driving but I also attribute that ridiculously long service life to my extensive use of engine braking. I imagine

We have to see if he floats, first.

I would agree with you, but all of the three-pedal vehicles I owned had enough idle torque that it wasn’t too much of a PITA.

I’m vey glad that we no longer have to worry about retracting power deployable antennae for car washes.
I never owned a car with such an antenna but when I was a lot porter at a Chevy dealer back in the day, I forgot to retract the antenna a couple of times and it resulted in some damage and a scolding.

Gawker deserved every bit of what happened.

I have to admit, what Tesla did to the Model S with the first facelift, was absolutely fantastic. The second facelift, the one that just happened, is fantastic as well but WTH were they thinking with that stupid yoke?

I love this car. It has way more character than a safari built 911. But $5,000? Heck no! $2500 all day though.

It’s a cigar bar, lol. Safari Cigars- Omaha, NE
A little bit swanky, great place to jump in a poker game so you can fulfill three vices at once.

As much as I’m a detractor of Tesla, I will admit that a base model 3 is a more pleasant vehicle than a base 3 series, both for driver and passengers.

Correct, those vehicles which are built by hand, using the finest materials and the pinnacle of brilliance in automotive engineering, which cost six or seven figures, are luxury goods. None of those things describe Tesla, but their vinyl interior is easy to clean.

Kind of depends on semantics. There’s a waiting list, but real customers have taken delivery of production models and they are out there in the wild.

Oh, I love it! Mrs. Cruiser and I frequent the place for a couple of drinks and a cigar after our dinner dates. It’s typically around 90% capacity, everybody has fun, and nobody gets bent out of shape or obnoxious. One time I did have too many drinks and the tab was painful.

My favorite bar charges too much for drinks. They keep the prices high because the only people who can afford to get bombed and cause trouble at those prices, won’t.

According to everybody who has driven Rivian, Lucid, and Tesla... Rivian and Lucid are the best EV’s you can get. Rivian and Lucid don’t match what Tesla offers, they best what Tesla offers.

Yours is a pretty bad take. BMWs are built with a high degree of engineering and quality, and offer luxurious features either as standard equipment or as options. Teslas have *checks notes* absurdly named driver assist features, a very large screen, and some switchgear from a better automaker.
