Tesla is not a luxury automobile brand. They don’t even have massaging seats. You know what has available massage seats? The F-150.

Tell me more about how a 28 year old pickup that might be making 100 horsepower on a good day, needs significant mechanical work, has nearly 300k on the clock, and has significant body damage is worth $2,800.
I really do love the look of Harley-Davidson baggers, but at THIRTY FREAKING THOUSAND DOLLARS, even in the year of our Lord 2022, no freaking dice. Ford will sell you an entire pickup truck for less money.
ND. The asking price isn’t that far off in dollars, but as a percentage it is way off. This is a solid buy for anything under $2,000. Interested parties should bring cash and start by offering $1,600.
I once knew a guy who threw a pocket Constitution at a cop in Adams county, NE when he got pulled over for DUI. You see, the roads are a public good, thus the government cannot regulate their use. At least that’s what he told me about driving drunk. I got confirmation from the newspaper about him throwing the pocket…
For just slightly more money, one can purchase an ‘18 NSX that’s a better car than the old NSX + ITR combined.
Now that you brought up temporary cash, I wonder if any of these bidders were crypto rich and had a crapload of their money wiped out recently.
Rob Spaghetti on YouTube put up a video about this last night and made great points. As good of a car as this is, it’s just not a six figure car. It’s not a six figure driving experience. I guess it is to somebody, or in this case multiple somebodies. They’re certainly not nobodies, given their penchant for dropping…
Please don’t take this the wrong way... depending on where in Houston you live, it may be really handy to have a boat once in a while.
Oh yea, and no Porsche, Alfa, Maserati, Genesis and I don’t recall seeing any Nissans... More brands for which we have dealerships. IDK why they didn’t even bother to send a rep to stand next to a car and hand out business cards.
Great point! To further your point, Bentleys and RR vehicles are not typically on road trip duty. It’s rare to find five year old examples with more than 30k miles, so range anxiety is not likely to influence buyers.
Yep, or a Highlander butched up 75%
Neutral: I went to the Omaha auto show last weekend and it was not really worth the drive downtown. I know what commenters in larger cities are thinking, but the Omaha auto show has been pretty solid in years past. This year, there was no: GMC, Lincoln, Cadillac, Bentley (we have a dealership and even they didn’t show…
RE: MPG- Probably better than your 4Runner
I’m seeing conflicting reports on the rear suspension. MotorTrend says, “ The Sequoia once again utilizes a fully independent suspension...”
Sequoia is cheaper, but that’s about all I can come up with. And now that the Lexus LX has ditched the split tailgate design there is no real benefit to going that route.
Is that a real fish? WTF is going on here?
The Minivan from yesterday’s NPOND.
I think you may have misinterpreted my comment, that’s on me as much as anybody for being unclear. I was saying that if the TRX, Trail Boss, and Raptor were going to put tail pipes in harm’s way, at least a side exit setup looks cool. I agree with you that the Bronco Raptor’s setup is ideal.
Call me crazy, but I think the new Sequoia looks great! I can’t put my finger on why, but I think it is far more attractive than the new Tundra, Land Cruiser, and LX600.
