I have absolutely no idea. When I typed “220v” that was the entirety of my electrical knowledge. I mean, I can hang a ceiling fan or flip a breaker back on but that’s as far as I go with electricity. Plumbing? No problem. Drywall? Child’s play. Flooring- no biggie. But I steer clear of the ouchy licorice in the walls.

Thanks for the tip (that’s what she said). I’ll shoot the guy an email and make sure it’s all handled.

I’m approximately half a step ahead of that, but on a different staircase so to speak. I have to pick out my backup generator still but that’s the plan.

I take issue with the part about getting the money back. For less than $600 I’m getting two additional 220's. I have to have one since I have a Lightning on order. I think that people will definitely be factoring the accessibility of 220 outlets in the garage by the time we move again in 10-25 years.

You ever had the flu? LOL!

Is that high or low? I have no idea. But in this case it’s a rounding error, and I’m saving money on the house anyway by installing the light fixtures, >half of the flooring, and all of the paint on my own.

BTW a note about paint: It’s easy and fast when there’s no flooring installed and you can buzz through with a

“Spitting in Our Faces”

I thought some of you were into that?

Just here to say that our builder breaks ground on our new house in the spring and I told him to put 3(!) 220 outlets in the garage. Not because I think we’ll ever need three at the same time; we will always have a gas powered vehicle. But the next owner might and they only cost another $275 each to wire up, so I

Again, no. There aren’t literal tens of millions of people who believe what they would hear on OAN if they were watching. There are millions, which when expressed as a percentage of the populace is quite small. OAN is a fringe media outlet that was built to placate and extract money from a delusional set of people.

Please come back to reality and find a way to attach yourself.

Yes absolutely. You go first.

Your motivation for this comment is hilarious, because the same motivation is the reason for every “news” network’s incredibly long list or corrections, retractions, and defamation lawsuit settlements.

And lezbehonest nobody takes OAN seriously.

I gave this one a very conflicted ND. The price isn’t out of whack with the market, but it’s just a lot of money for not a lot of car. It’s going to need a lot of bushings replaced, timing belt done... probably needs new plugs. It’s just a lot of time and attention to get it up to my standards which really aren’t all

That’s... not a lot of money for a timing belt service, as told by every Honda owner.
Too bad it’s not an SC300 though, because I can do that timing belt service in my sleep.

What the fuck makes brands think that consumers liken the letter Q to anything futuristic or smart? Like when Infiniti made every model a “Q—-”
It’s just dumb.

According to my divorced friend, a side hoe is always more trouble than it was worth.

Back in the 90's my dad’s business went under and he did consulting gigs for about a year, including the development of what I believe was the very first application of sonar technology for those giant open pit mining trucks. They were routinely running over parked 1-ton pickups and the operators wanted to stop doing

Neutral: Last night my wife went out to happy hour with a friend. I still had her husband’s cooler and sweatshirt in my vehicle from when we attended the Husker football game against Ohio State a couple of weeks ago, so I swung by to drop the items in the friend’s wife’s vehicle. I noticed as I pulled up that the

People already drive decommissioned examples of police cruisers because they’re great daily drivers. It’s got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant. It’s got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks.... Whaddya say, is it the new Blues Mobile or what?

Definitely a nice price. Sure it doesn’t run right, but it’s a unique, running and driving maserati with what was a hell of a lot of power in its time. LFG!
