This is a fun one! Earlier this year I took over someone’s lease on a ‘19 Odyssey Touring because my ‘11 got totaled. The lease ends in June of next year with a buyout of about $24k and from what I can tell, it would sell for at least $38k. I will likely buy it out because my new Lightning won’t be delivered by lease

Commercial airliners and private jets use Jet-A.

Maybe all of the people slamming first gear as a blatantly false shit take will wake up the author.

I’m old enough to remember the glory days of Midwest Express. That was a helluva airline.
Oh and those continental cookies... do they still do those? They were the best.

Name might be dumb, but I’ve been a Blizzak fan for decades. In the late ‘90's and early 00's, my Dad DD’ed a Mustang through snowy winters because those Blizzak’s just refused to run out of grip.

wrong. I’m a mild mannered medical device salesman who drives a minivan. I live in a rural state’s largest city and spend lots of time in rural areas, hunting and visiting friends. Many of my friends, neighbors, and co-workers drive pickups because that’s just what Nebraskans drive- work trucks, Raptors and everything

I see lots of that around Omaha in October & November

Those little coolers built into the floor of the back seat are handier than a shirt pocket!

lol

True effing story: Took my wife’s RX350 to discount tire last week. I stood in line for check-in right behind a guy, and I can’t make this up, who was wearing jorts, FRESH WHITE New Balance shoes, cell phone clipped to his belt, bomber jacket over a Hawai’ian shirt, and a Corvette club baseball cap.

Since I know you’re

Not a bad play. Most lesbians will never have children and you can’t take money with you. May as well spend it on a shiny new Forester XT!

This one is mostly true

The strangest stereotype I’ve heard or read would be the profile that most Jalopnik commenters think about pickup truck drivers.

Really nice examples go for double this amount, last time I checked. If it’s not a scam (it is) it’s a nice price.

The chunky tires have soft roading pretensions, but the front overhang begs to be scraped on a curb

I’ve enjoyed the purchase and ownership of several stripper models in my life, and even I think heated seats are a sacred cow. Perhaps because it gets cold where I live.

I recently read an article that was a couple of years old, which basically explained why rev hang is just going to be a thing on small, turbocharged engines with manual transmissions. Apparently it’s an emissions related “feature”.

I don’t have a duck in this pond, but I know a little bit about it because my good friend and next door neighbor is a big Jeep guy. Anyway he said that the only people ducking around are the mall crawlers with those shitty XD wheels and lots of paracord accessories.
His ‘13 JKU Rubicon started life as a daily driver

Agree. C&D and Motortrend writers had less glowing reviews of this model. According to them, the back seat is cramped compared to the 7, S, and A8. They also say the ride is a bit busy.

This is true. I think the Model Y is ugly and the Mach-E is good looking (ish).
