Backup cam screen in rearview mirror, problem solved
That’s not an unpopular opinion at all. Everyone who likes the 928 (including yours truly) loves the rear hatch and headlights. I also happen to love the Pasha seats but a double black, late model GTS is really my cup of tea.
Car looks like it’s in great shape, and if it were an unmolested coupe it would definitely fetch $40k.
But it’s not, and the seller will be lucky to see $25k when it’s all said and done.
That’s great to read, that you’ve had a positive ownership experience. How is the maintenance?
People like to discount the slippery slope argument, just because it’s one of those arguments that has a name. But when we’re talking about the U.S. government, the slippery slope argument has proven valid every time. First they come for the billionaires. Then the 9 figure net worth individuals. Then the 8 figure…
My pops recently got a very good deal on a CPO BMW(edit) 540i Xdrive. The car had an original sticker price of just under $75k in 2018 and he picked it up for $38k. Idk how many miles it has, but I suspect the spec had something to do with the price. I like to color (Atlas Cedar Metallic) but it’s not for everyone.
Do you think that unrealized capital gains should be taxed? Because I have some bad news about how that would affect you.
I generally agree. “Generally” because Mercedes has perfected automatic stop/start with their new straight 6 motors to the point that it is seamless. I’m convinced that almost all “regular” cars with a longitudinal engine layout should have a straight 6 with an electric motor in place of the torque converter. Golly I…
I disagree. Think about all of the gargantuan power vehicles on sale today. When your torque figure starts with a 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or has four digits, a torque converter is your friend.
1st gear: I legit forgot that the Jaguar I-Pace exists. I used to occasionally see a couple of them running around West Omaha, but haven’t in a while. Makes me wonder if the owners moved or if they sold their Jags.
Digital instrument panels are by far the most overrated new car feature. I prefer mechanical gauges, for one. Second, the litany of digital gauge reconfigurations that many new cars offer their driver add nothing to the drive.
If this really is a 1999 BMW with a V8 and three pedals, that is sorted mechanically then yea I’ll fly out to LA and give him sixty crisp $100 bills. That said, I’m calling complete and total bullshit. He knows what he has, which is why he’s only asking $6k in this stupid market and the BaT era.
Just say the quiet part loud: when black men agree with your far left social ideals, they’re heroes who deserve adoration. But when they don’t fit into the mold of what you think black people should think, they’re just pawns on the white chess board.
400's and 500's are cool. I’m a really big fan of prime numbers, so when it was revealed that the new RS3 has 401hp, I became a big fan of that car. Forced induction or not.
I just have this weird feeling that you’re really into naturally aspirated cars with horsepower figures that start with a 6.
Perhaps since it is a global product and is being developed my global teams of engineers, it is being tested in global conditions where the respective teams are located? Just spitballing here.
Auto manufacturers aren’t in the business of driving up R&D costs just for fun or even marketing. There has to be a reason for…
I don’t know about the differences between testing in Baudette, MN and somewhere in cold outside North America, but since the Ranger is a global product it makes sense to me that they would test it globally.
I used to own a TJ Wrangler on which I installed a louvered hood patch which is kind of what you’re talking about. I didn’t do it for cooling or cool looks, either. It helped greatly with hood flutter at highway speeds and when passing semi trucks.
You never had the makings of a varsity CEO!
ehhh give me a bit to find the right article. I have some work I have to knock out but it exists.
And for the records, I’m not being anti anything here. I’m just saying that there are expensive ways to operate and EV.
