Wow. He is one smart mammajamma!

Neutral: I’ve driven the Highlander and the Rav4, both multiple times as rentals. I’ve had everything from the most basic Highlander to the Platinum, and I’ve had a couple trim levels of the Rav4. Both were quite good commuter capsules, offering good fuel economy, adequate power, good enough transmission tuning, and a

Right?!
Cost of living aside, just look at the tax and regulatory situation. There are pros and cons of living in Texas, just as there are every other state, depending on your taste. From a financial well-being perspective, California is one of the worst places one could try to raise a family.

I just want to old tobacco liveries back.

Obviously the FoMoCo Panthers

It’s a terrific $5,000 vehicle.

I would 100% drive a properly spec’d RDX when the time is right. Until then, I’m relegated to a minivan due to circumstances that are completely my hot wife’s fault.

I know a former couple (tragically the wife passed away), both had fabulous incomes for a combined gross >$400k. They worked in sales at the same place and their incomes had increased sharply but they both had straight up bad credit. They got married and bought their first house in the mid $200's, stayed there for 25

Please take a side. This is the Jalopnik comments section, for crying out loud.

Why do automakers insist giant glass roofs? I absolutely abhor sunroofs of any kind. Are there Jalops who actually want a glass roof?

Only if they’re an enthusiast. My in-laws can probably produce dealer service department receipts for changing wiper blades, but have no idea what BaT means. They’d probably assume it’s a scrap yard.

I wonder what the end game was for these folks? They didn’t make off with enough money to be on the run forever, at least not with a lifestyle that would make it all worthwhile. And it was so obviously going to come crashing down at some point... So what was the plan? If you’re going to steal seven figures, you’d

I gave you a star, despite you being high on the vehicle’s actual value. I think it’s a really great $6500 vehicle for someone with the time, talent, and desire to go through and replace lots of rubber pieces.
I’ve owned too many German vehicles, and had to replace too many bushings & gaskets to have a positive

Honda’s HPD is a pretty sad attempt.
98% of Toyotas that say TRD are lame as hell
And let us not forget ze Germans, slapping their performance brands on trim packages for base models. Those make me chuckle.

Say what you want about FCA/Stellantis, but when they apply the SRT badge, it means something serious is going on

It’s not leather.

The only function of price is to ration supply

There’s going to be a lot of gaskets and bushings that need replaced for this vehicle to be drivable.

I couldn’t disagree more. It’s a slow car with all the torsional rigidity of a Twizzler Pull’n Peel. It wasn’t special new and for the money, you can find something else that it better in every single way.

This is just a German version of one of those shitty American or Japanese vehicles with very low mileage that we see any other day here at NPOND. It’s in almost new condition. Ok, great. Does anybody actually want to own a 22 year old regular ass car that’s been sitting for the vast majority of its life? Don’t let the

I just can’t stand the tacked on, non-functional side scoops of the Cali Special. Fake scoops are the total embodiment of everything wrong with Mustang. They just look like cheap Pep Boys mods and everyone who cares to look, knows that they don’t do jack squat. Same can be said with blacking out everything. I like
