Sounds miserable and silly.

I disagree. One of the highest volume F-150 configurations has a maximum tow rating of like 7500 lbs, which is pretty low in the grand scheme of things. I’m referring to the crew cab 2.7L with 3.55 or 3.73 rear end.

Stop being such a twat

That’ll end pretty quickly. Ford has a Fusion+Focus+Taurus sized hole to fill in their lineup and they’re not going to fill it with solely Bronco Sport orders. You will see a couple of dozen Maverick’s on every Ford lot in the country, along with every rental lot.

Instant Monkey I think the last year has jaded you.
This vehicle replaces the Fusion in Ford’s lineup. Think of the year 2015 and all of the Fusions you saw on dealer lots and in the rental lots... That’s the gap that Ford is filling. This is going to be a high volume model and outside of a few delusional dealers in

Driving this vehicle absent a B pillar would be a different kind of suicide.

The only things that I think really need to change with the current Tacoma are the powertrain and the steering effort. I prefer a lighter steering effort in a pickup, and I don’t think the current engine & transmission are a good match.

I haven’t seen any good data suggesting that. Even if it’s true, which is a long shot, it’s nothing new that when people think their side loses a close race the result must be invalid. Look at the 2016 election. Democrats spent years peddling the russian collusion narrative that has been completely debunked and

Where abouts do you live? I’m genuinely curious. I don’t know anyone who isn’t living their normal life at this point.

I think you would benefit from turning off your cable news station of choice, perhaps logging off of social media, and speaking with some republicans. Your opinions of people right of center are skewed to the exceptionally small percentage of people that the left-wing media nuts talk about all day.
Same goes for many

Your case makes sense, and I don’t have data to support this statement but I’ll go out on a limb and say that you’re kind of an outlier. Most households have just one or two vehicles and tend to buy or lease a jack of all trades, master of none.

Thank you for your input. A few things:
1) I’m certainly not lying, not sure who would lie about their vehicle’s cruising range. I’m just going by the calculated range on the display
2) Ours is a little older and has the 21 gallon tank vs. the 2021 19.5 gallon tank
3)We get ~26MPG hwy here in the great plains
4) I’ve

Already have another comment outlining the error here but I think it is worth typing again. I think the current focus should be on building excellent EV’s that people want to buy, that don’t need to go 500 miles at a time. Let’s get every vehicle that doesn’t get taken on 400-600 mile road trips 5-6x/year replaced

Agree. I just got back from a family road trip to Dallas, which is a 10 hour drive from our house and just about my daily limit.
BTW my Odyssey crushed it. The kids were asleep, so we didn’t stop until we “needed” gas after 426 miles. Still had >100 miles of range on the tank but my wife thinks that is sketchy

4th gear: I think the EV focus needs to shift. Right now manufacturers seem to think, “electrify everything right now and be all things to all people.” The focus should instead be on building reliable, excellent EV’s that people want to own and fill out half of the fleet. Just thinking about my situation, as well as

Right, but the 12c’s transmission needs replaced as part of regular maintenance.

Current gen Ford Explorer.

On paper, the new Explorer was going to be great. The move to a longitudinal powertrain layout was a great idea, which should have given it some design flair and differentiated it from the competition. This could have also allowed the Lincoln Aviator to finally compete vith ze Germans. But

LOL yea I guess the Chevy Express is still a nice looking van. But I was thinking of the Accord, Mustang, JGC, Durango, Charger, E Class, Audi A8, R8... the list goes on. Simply put, there are a lot of 2021 MY cars on sale today with 3+ year old designs that I like quite a lot. Many have had a face lift but more or

2nd gear: Ford is not meant to operate for the good of the people of Michigan. It’s meant to operate for the good of the shareholders. One of which is me. You are out of your mind, Raphael.

I get where you’re coming from, but there are a ton of good looking new cars currently in like their third or fourth or seventh or 10th years of production that are quite good looking.
