That out of state registration thing doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve never received plates or tags from a car dealer, nor heard of a dealer delivering a plated and registered car to a consumer.

It’s not a direct 1:1 but if your brain can’t process the parallels then that’s on your parents and the schools you attended.

Let’s say you make a mistake and don’t do something for your job. It’s something that you routinely do all the time, but neglect to do one time. Weeks later, someone at work calls you out for not doing that thing. And work tells you that you’re not allowed to work for six months.

Now think about that and tell me if

Ok Raph, this article is complete trash and I think you know it. First, there is really no proof that this particular car has any Hitler connection. Second, if you really want to throw this car to the dustbin of history at least be consistent. We have many other automotive and non-automotive subjects to cancel. IBM,

Anybody who spends that much money to get that car, deserves the transaction. Take that as positive or as negative as you want.

That’s a tough debate, and ultimately boils down to how often you need the heavier duty utility vs. how often there are 3rd row occupants and how tall they will be. We went with a minivan because I almost never need the heavier duty utility. If you frequently need to haul several people and pull a trailer, there are

Have you read Green Hell?

Wow, I’ve never seen the “SUV’s do nothing well” hot take. Those are bold words, given the Expedition-pulling-a-boat sized mountain of evidence to the contrary.

We don’t need to downsize. Should? Yea, probably. But the #1 selling vehicle in America, which happens to be one of the largest, is going to offer an electric model very soon.

Yea, my thought exactly. They #1 selling vehicle in the country is about to be offered as an electric model, in its most popular configuration, at a price that is extremely competitive with its gas counterpart. But the sky is falling and nobody is serious about EV’s and blah blah.

3rd gear: That’s not at all uncommon, not really even a little. There are scores of dealers and manufacturers that make more money through their financing arm (the “back end”) than they do through their sales arm (the “front end”).

We would probably be surprised by how many vehicles have this feature. My recently totaled Odyssey did it, as does Mrs. Cruiser’s RX350. On the W211, I found through trial and error that you just needed to have the pointy end of the FOB pointed at the driver’s door handle and be within about 20 yards. There’s a tiny

I too, would like to achieve 30highway mpg while burning tequila!

My recently totaled 2011 Odyssey has a “cool box” at the bottom of the dash that’ll hold a six pack.

Speaking from rental experience, you can go into the menu on Ford’s SYNC system and add a new combo. I usually add our wedding anniversary and wipe it upon returning the vehicle.

Automatically closing windows. Some non-US market cars with rain sensing wipers will close the windows if it starts raining when parked. When I bought the W211 that I used to own, I found out about this and immediately tried to find a way to hack mine and unlock this feature. Alas I was never able to, but why the heck

I don’t think he meant “Simplify your life by dying in a dune buggy that’s not a dune buggy”

I’ve made this rant before and I’ll do it again: Your license plate is the most public thing in your life. Followed closely by what you paid for your house (at least in Nebraska, you can the internet to look up any address or owner name and see transaction history). Every single person who has ever been behind you in

This thing is worthless as a dune buggy, parts car, and personal transportation. No dice at quite literally any price.

Disagree with me all you want, that’s cool if we have different opinions. But I’m definitely not a cop. I’m a medical device salesman.
