Yea this Goobin fella is not serious. He or she seems to think vehicles which don’t achieve 40MPG are obscene or something. Meanwhile, I drive my minivan because that’s the most efficient way to transport my family but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t weigh 4400lbs.

That’s not at all stereotypical. They’re people who can spend $70, $80, $90,000+ on a car and want a luxury SUV. They can shop wherever they want.

It was, and since I was there for work and didn’t care about cost/mileage, I didn’t even do rounded math in my head when I filled the tank.

I’d like to see a non-EV list of every car that gets 30 combined MPG, it’s probably not very long. And it’s likely comprised mostly of vehicles we don’t want to drive.

I think port injection is actually better under low load situations like cruising. That’s why we’re seeing more vehicles with dual injection.

100% in agreement. To put it another way, people who read earther would probably like to slap me if we ever met, and even I think the Grand Wagoneer’s fuel economy is sad.
IDK how many vehicles Stellantis sells in the US are rated for 30+ hwy MPG but I did achieve like 36MPG on a round trip from Colorado Springs to

I actually don’t hate higher gas prices, because it causes the values of awesome pickups and SUV’s (guilty pleasure of mine) to plummet. Living that debt free life that many Jalopnik commenters love to rag on, enables me to not GAF about gas prices because our monthly nut is so low.

I don’t think Stellantis ever had aspirations of selling a vehicle based on the Ram 1500 frame in the EU.

Competing with Mack, Freightliner, Peterbilt, and Volvo is a way larger field with better margins and far, far higher transaction prices.

Peculiar stance to take, as the federal deficit varied wildly during his time in office. He managed to get it as low as ~$350 Billion, but he also had some years that were in the area of $1.5 Trillion. What strikes me as weird about the whole thing is that the deficit was all over the place during his time. Down,

Second gear: That’s not a vote of no confidence, that’s a vote of asset diversification and cashing in big time.
For all we know, the guy left because realized “to hell with it, I’m worth hundreds of millions of dollars, my boss is a tool, and don’t need to work for him to live like a king forever
which is exactly the

That’s literally what I was doing, because I had an issue with another post.

Can speak first hand about this. Yes, sort of, but the particular part I have experience with may extend to mainstream cars as well. I’m talking about the ABS pump on a Mercedes. The pump is electronically controlled on account of it is tied in with the stability & traction control systems. It’s also very expensive

No. Cryptocurrencies are commodities. There are different cryptos just as there are different types of crude oil, but each one is a homogenous product in such a way as there are no differentiating factors from one barrel of WTI to another.

Please don’t equate the Washington Post with journalistic integrity or fairness.

This is a pretty bipartisan cause, but the democrats can screw it up if they tie in a big government expansion or reduce intellectual property rights.

If the car is in its stated condition, this is an easy NP. $3500 for a hot little hatch with a stout powertrain and leather seats, heck yes.

You know, if a decrease in mining had actually affected the price of the commodity in this case, it would push the price upward on account of decreased supply. At least that’s how the laws of economics work. See also: what happens when oil production decreases, bad years in farm commodities, and the law of scarcity.
