I always appreciate the irony of a comment about the stupidity of others, complete with a spelling error.

3rd gear: I don’t think the UAW has a god-given right to expand to the new plants, which as you noted are a joint venture. The UAW has been rife with corruption for years and an expansion of that organization is another opportunity for troublesome leadership to be, well troublesome. The employees of the new plants…
Sometimes I feel like there is no terrestrial force that can kill a S-10.
I think my ‘02 Cougar had 140k on the clock when I traded it. The trouble is that I have a very short attention span with vehicles, so I rarely keep them long enough to put serious miles on one. The only car I’ve owned longer than 30 months was a 2014 Accord that I bought new.

Hey man I like Coyotes way more but they’re not controversial. Needed to stir the pot with something spicy and, well...
I don’t even think LS powered RX7's are that controversial. In every way that rotary engines are trash, LS motors are king. Not a Chevy fanboy, just realistic.
This is sure to cause many pearls to be clutched and gasps to be heard. It’ll stir more controversy than LS powered fox bodies.
I really want to see Chrysler survive and thrive, as a premium brand like it once was. Back in the 50's & 60's they were on the leading edge of some innovative stuff . Then the financial troubles happened and they’ve never been the same.
Some day, I want to have a drink with V10omous. This dude gets it.
Just here to point out that it’s days like today, the person whose handle is “Elon’s backdoor Musk” was born to comment.
Great way to end the article, Lawrence. It is more important than ever for consumers to understand that they do not need to buy a car right now. There are more vehicles produced every day and there absolutely will be another car for you to buy on another date in the future.
They’re never going to outsell Toyota or Honda because as I stated initially, they don’t understand the US market. “VW as a whole is still not a mainstream choice in many parts of the country....” because they don’t understand the US market.
IDK if I would say “that’s what people want” because the CRV, Rav4, and Escape all sell in greater numbers by an order of magnitude, using a very different formula. That’s my entire point- VW does not understand the US market. If they did, they would sell more competitive products resulting in better sales numbers.
I think you’re wrong. It will take a couple of years, but I predict that pipeline will be built and fully operational.
Take your star and get out of here
There are already cases being litigated that could apply to this. When President Biden decided to unilaterally revoke the federal permit for the KeystoneXL pipeline, TransCanada and many others filed suit. The premise is that the government through its various agencies and jurisdictions cannot grant permits, only to…
Mazda and Ford are close... Toyota does it.
Counterpoint: VW didn’t nearly triple sales of the Tiguan (still>30k from tripling) but they did >double sales. To your point, their redesign is a much more valiant effort!
I think VW’s market share in conjunction with how long it took them to debut a 3-row SUV is a very good indicator that they don’t really…
It has been DAYS since our last attack. The problem is pretty much gone.
