The alleged rape took place on October 8th. An event that allegedly occurred three months ago is highly unlikely to result in any criminal prosecution, and why on earth did the angry boyfriend confront this guy's dad instead of encouraging his girlfriend to go to the police a long time ago? This is all a bit weird.

Well, she had a history of substance abuse issues well before this, so I'm not prepared to assume it's just these prescription drugs that produced her ravings. The bathroom runs on several episodes suggest she was doing, er, other things too.
