“Blaming the state of Chicago on “shit enacted by liberals” is beyond tone deaf.”
“Blaming the state of Chicago on “shit enacted by liberals” is beyond tone deaf.”
Can’t tell if sarcasm or not.
Well, first the US population dwarfs that of Canada and the UK. Second, our politicians can’t seem to keep their hands out of the cookie jar when it comes to Medicare, Medicaid, etc...
It matters because it seems like some people are trying to say that the rising gun crime, or crime in general, in Chicago can be blamed on outside factors. The problems in Chicago aren’t due to less strict gun regulations in neighboring states, they are due to a number of socioeconomic factors along with a health dose…
“A report from Chicago authorities found that nearly 60% of illegal guns recovered in the city from 2009 to 2013 were first sold in states with more lax gun laws.”
Can’t get away with reading this at work, but does it give any statistics on whether any of that 60% of illegal guns coming from outside Chicago where stolen from law abiding citizens?
“Police are investigating whether the slurs are evidence enough to designate the assault a hate crime.”
“The message that comes across from the aggregate paleness of supernatural/spiritual fiction like The OA is that the interior spiritual lives of black people and other folks on the margins don’t matter as much”
Um, what? Were you high when posting this or are you just incapable of forming a coherent thought?
Can you prove this? Can you produce quantifiable evidence that any leaked emails directly influenced voter decisions at the polls? Not even Obama and the US intelligence community have been able to provide any such evidence. Also, it’s rather disconcerting that people are more upset that Hillary Clinton’s massive…
“Did he suddenly realize that it looks rather un-presidential to contradict your own intelligence agencies so publicly? No, Trump had simply spelled Assange’s name wrong.”
And there’s no earthly reason why LA, NYC, Philly, and a couple other major cities should dictate who the president of the entire country is...which is exactly what will happen every single election without the Electoral College.
If you take California out of the equation, Hillary doesn’t win the popular vote. This is not the United States of California, and precisely the reason why the Electoral College, was, is and will continue to be necessary.
You tell me, all you need do is look out your window.
If you think this doesn’t describe Hillary as well, then you’re either in denial or....well, you’re just in denial.
“this election was hacked/rigged only in trumps favor regardless of who ran against him”
The “archaic” Electoral College kept Los Angeles and NYC from dictating to the rest of the US, who their next president would be. It has worked and continues to work exactly as intended. Had the tables been turned and Hillary won the necessary electoral votes, I’m sure you would be singing the praises of the Electoral…
“And every single Bern vs Trump poll had Bern beating the ever-loving sh*t out of him.”
“If you supported Hillary, you brought us Trump. Thanks, you neocon idiots.”
Obama, the CIA, and US intelligence community as a whole have yet to produce a single scrap of definitive proof that Russia influenced the outcome of the election.
