To be fair, technical achievement aside, Doom is quite inferior on the switch. Very blurry, 30 fps, 720p at max and often less.

Now playing

The thing people fail to realize is we aren’t playing the same game. Sekiro is easier for me than someone with arthritis. It’s easier for that dude who played all 5 without being hit than me.

“Sales" and "Critical Acclaim" are literally two entirely different things.  Also MM still doesn't take forever.  Like, at this moment, there's no problem finding a match.

It has loot boxes.

You’re failing to realize profitability is not the most important factor in a pubicly traded company. Exceeding or at least meeting expectations is.

It’s extremely competent. Unfortunately it lacks the most important features that made the last games beloved and features only one mode in an extremely competitive market.

Well if you tried the MP now you’ll get brutalized because the game has a ludicrous skill ceilling and everyone still playing is quite excellent.

Jesus. It really is that brutal a comment isn't it.  Ffs.

It’s fine. If you like BR it’s a reasonable iteration on the formula with enough unique changes to not be embarrassing. It’s smooth and plays very much like the new COD.

“Let me be clear. I misspoke earlier. Apex Legends is a labor of love that we’ve been excited about for years and it has nothing to do with either EAs influence our monetization factors.  We look forward to our next project...support and map creation for BF6 which has always been our real ambition.

The difference I think for many like myself is the somnabulent nature of matches dude.

If you didn’t actually take joy in the parkour system you’d have missed much of its greatness. The meticulously crafted levels that are almost combat parkour puzzle rooms.

No. It simply is not. Gunplay in TF is very solid and (no surprise) COD like. But what makes TF the best MP shooter around is tee mobility systems that create an almost absurd skill gap and allows for real mastery.

Well shovels are pretty useful. You can plant a garden, or bury dead pets, or defend your canned goods in case of apocalypse.

I mean, it’s pretty bad. Bethesda makes very VERY bad combat. FO4 finally got the combat to be not so terrible it’s annoying.

You get a PS4, FO76 and the last 3 years of Amare Stoudemire.

I’m willing to bet the budget for FO76 is orders of magnitude greater than DM. Also there’s disappointment around an announcement. FO76 is an utter catastrophe from its very foundation right through its execution.

The Mooncrash DLC is, imo, one of the 3 best releases of 2018.  It's the game nearly perfected and probably the very best non souls dlc in years.

One would assume Bungie bought out of its commitment as well perhaps complicating its balance sheet.

The problem is real people are less interesting than Npcs in the way my daily life is less interesting than a Raymond Carver story.
