I actually love the way new Fords & Lincolns smell when they have leather seats. My 2016 Fusion had a good new car smell for about 6 months after purchase.

I added and coded the Mondeo taillights for my 2016 Fusion which visually look exactly the same but instead of the whole clear part being red like on the US cars, the bottom is red and the top is amber when the turn signal is active.

I have had 2 SVTs, the one I owned back in 2012 was a solid car after doing some basic stuff and it had 170k miles and I ended up selling it for a 2014 Focus ST.

A well kept MK1 Focus will outlast you with minimal repairs, unless you have an SVT like me and then they are a pain in the ass, but worth it for a fun weekend cruiser.
