@jkrell: Not to my knowledge, but if you are in Canada, [Zip.ca] is a fairly decent substitute.

@johnhamdun: It has the first several seasons of Dexter and Dead Like Me, which were Showtime shows. Those are the ones I've watched, I don't know if they have others off the top of my head.

@danger the pirate (now with google voice!): I feel the same. I'm not sure why people are saying that the Instant selections are crap. I watched all of 30 Rock, the entirety of The Office, a ton of movies I can't find anywhere in local movie stores, Dexter, No Reservations, and I'm currently blowing through Dead Like

God I am such a Netflix cheerleader. I've been streaming the hell out of all their dumb shows lately while I work and it is wonderful. Maybe now I'll finally finish the fourth season of Lost.

@utkhexon: Watching Lost straight through in a DVD format is really the way to go. I saw the first three seasons that way and loved them, but then lost interest in the fourth season, as I couldn't keep my interest up week to week.

@BartholomewNanobots: Man are you honestly saying you DON'T want your car to greet you after a hard day of work with delicious warm cookies?

@Mighty72: Credit cards are very useful if you're not a moron with your money (which, sadly, a lot of people are). Credit cards offer consumer protections like chargebacks, so if you buy something and it turns out to be a lemon, you can get that money back easier than fighting with the company that sold you the crappy

Oh wow this is amazing. I hope I live in a place where I can do this some day.

I use a binder clip to keep my tablet pen hooked onto my tablet. I slide it over the tablet's cord and snap it onto the pen when I'm not using it. It's an easy thing to lose, and, for me, a disaster if it's lost.

This is handy for me. I'm planning a move to Portland and it's hard figuring out how much I'm going to have to make to live at least a comparable lifestyle to what I'm living now. It's going to be hard moving from the one of the least expensive parts of the country to one of the coasts.

@redfalconf35: I only use the stomach if for some reason I can't sleep any way else. Sleeping on my stomach makes me feel ill and I can never get my head comfortable.

@sunnytimes: Why on earth would it be a red panda if the application is called "fireFOX"?

@D0rk: Yeah that's what I thought. The article reads like they did a massive overhaul of the logo, but the differences are subtle at best. It's a nice logo, but it's not really all that new. Revamped, maybe.

Any cool corner desk makes me swoon. I would love to have something like this in my loft.

@FourInchHeels: Yeah, I have the feeling that taking a picture of my workspace (a big old blue recliner flanked by two laptops and a tablet monitor) wouldn't get high marks around here, hahah. It's not pretty, but it's comfortable!

@UnderLoK: Or if the cat is anything like my cat, he'll actually LIKE getting swatted, pushed around, and tossed. The cat keeps coming back for more and seems happiest when we are handling him roughly (not painfully, just more like playing with a rambunctious dog than a cat).

@thegermandude517: Oh that's a good tip. My cat has never been averse to water (he likes to jump in the shower and the bathtub while we're using it), so a water bottle had 100% no effect on him. Vinegar might help.

@Insomnic: God, same here. My cat isn't a rescue cat, but he's a horrible masochist that seems to enjoy being manhandled and mistreated for some reason. I bought a spray bottle to keep him off high tables and shelves, and when I spray him with it he just sits there taking it. I'll spray him right in the face and he'll

This is excellent advice that I usually follow myself. I do a webcomic and I don't think I would have kept up with it for as long as I have if I didn't feel like I had an obligation to post on schedule every single week. I do the same thing with friends and tell them what I'm going to accomplish for the
