Same. I routinely work on systems with one or two petabytes on a single active array. For damn sure, the cost for backup software, a tape library and spare tapes was way less than whatever they had to pay for a data recovery service.

We’re even talking about 22TB, that’s practically nothing on modern Enterprise systems. It would be trivial to back that up, and to keep incremental backups so everything stays up to date.

I had the same thought.  If it’s inside the house, condensation on cold pipes would actually come from water in the air, reducing the humidity.  Now, from there if it evaporates again, you’ve got a zero-sum situation, but if condensation drains off somewhere outside the home...
