He doesn’t deserve any “leeway” for throwing actors into entire blue screen and green screen rooms. There is a HUGE difference between filming on a set and having a lightsaber fight in a physical forest and having a lightsaber fight on CGI platforms over CGI lava on a CGI planet.

Said the boy who lives in his parent’s basement, hasn’t shaved in weeks (assuming he needs to?), and has a lot of JPEG girlfriends.

Kindly scroll up and read my response to Arturo. It wasn’t safe, you just want to believe it was so you can whine about it and impress your friends on social media. If it had a white male lead, all the people who hated it would be raving over it.

Yeah, there was. And save for a couple scenes it was well done. Lucas CGI and Force Awakens CGI are two completely different sides of the spectrum.

Oh boohoo. Enjoy your over choreographed dance-fights from the prequels. Sorry this one didn’t have enough CGI lava, ninja Yodas, or flying platforms for you.

Oh nonononono Empire isn’t allowed to touch the prequels on a list. You need padding in between. Please pad.

Stop whining. Everyone else on the internet is saying the same things, we don’t need to keep this echo chamber going.

Agreed, except I would put Revenge of the Sith at the bottom because the cheesy action sequences are entirely too over-the-top and nowhere near as impressive as they think they are.

Oh stop. Form your own opinions. Stop trying to impress the internet. If you say a movie was good, let it be good. You don’t have to nit-pick it to death to sound all pseudo-intellectual.
