Just an excuse to post a picture I took in San Antonio.

In single game scenarios, yes, you’re right. But over the course of a 7 game series, best team usually prevails. Team being the operative word here. Ducks were more skilled on the top lines, but the Preds team depth is what ultimately won out. The better overall, top to bottom, team won.

Every single article I’ve read reflecting on this series seems to gloss over a pretty significant point: The Predators found a way to win WITHOUT THEIR TOP TWO CENTERMEN!
