I think the Idiot's Lantern had a reference to Baker's demise when he has to climb a TV areal at the end, but I haven't really watched that episode since it was first aired so I may be wrong.

The synth bit at the beginning of the episode while he explored the castle reminded me of one of the themes in Mass Effect.

We had to look at Lost Girls for a lecture on comics. We didn't have to buy it, thank God, but even being given photocopies felt skeevy as hell…

The best Bends-era B-side (although this feels like cheating) is surely 'Talk Show Host'. Such a great track.

The 'metanovel' is one of the things I love about David Mitchell. It's great finding the little connections between all the individual stories.

Between Pushing Daisies' pies, Dead Like Me's waffles, and Hannibal's umm banquets, Brian Fuller's shows have some incredible looking food in them…

Take it easy…

Cabinet Office Briefing Room A?

It borders to the south-west. It is present-day Cornwall, while Wessex covers Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire among others.

To be fair, James Bond often announces his real name to anyone he comes across (usually in a bar…)

Ha! That's brilliant, thanks.

I'm thinking of doing that. Finding a combo that worked dissuaded me from experimenting further, but there are so many side missions it can't hurt to use them to play with new combos.

Yeah, when you're a certain class and specialization you will limit yourself anyway. I did the same with origins (Alistair, Leliana, Wynne) Awakening (Sigrun, Nathaniel, Anders) and DA2 (Avaline, Isabela, Merrill) and just subbed in other characters for personal/appropriate quests.

That formula you use is so broad as to be meaningless though.

Still playing through Dragon Age: Inquisition (having a puppy to look after is obviously slowing my progress). I'm playing the Warden's quest at the moment and it's cool to have a certain person back (even if I had to try and make her face up again from memory so she looks different…)

I'm only part-way through, but I like Sera's romance so far (I'm a female dwarf) as it seems like she's actually into the flirting instead of you having to force her to like you.

Yeah, 'circumcision' is the preferred nomenclature.

I'm out to some friends because I have a habit of being really open when I'm drunk…

It took a while to come around to the idea that I was bi. Like I kept thinking that because I've never had sex with a guy then I wasn't 'properly' that way.

Of all the genre writers to have a urologist namesake, I would have thought Philip Dick would have been more relevant…
