I'm imagining you just yelling "IT'S ABOUT WANKING" into someone's ear in a loud club.

I think in the MCU (as of the newsreels in Winter Soldier) Bucky killed Stark's parents so it's a little more than just wanting him arrested. It's personal for both of them.

I watched the first Avengers without having seen any of the solo movies and I underdtood it fine. The only thing that didn't land was Coulson's death as to me he seemed like the one extra with a bit of dialogue that always dies in those kind of movies. I didn't realise he was a popular recurring character…

The old BBC 'Walking With' series was probably as close as you'll get

"I was on my way to the studio but I saw a Jamaican man and I was so angry that I missed the turning. Yours, Eric."

Actually the problem with the book of Mockingjay is that has too much going on and so is far too pacey at time, just blowing through plot point after plot point so as to seem rushed. The films have really improved it by splitting it up and giving everything more time.

The murder mystery would be interspersed with hour-long shots of the train travelling through Europe…

…and now I'm wondering if the little bit about the arsehole mother calling Nomi by her dead-name in Sense8 is based on experience with shitty movie execs…

Yeah, I'd heard that apparently studying the holocaust and other WW2-era atrocities for either this or a potential sequel was so upsetting that he had a breakdown.

Ah Price deserved it.

Also, from the ground Hulk is the one that is more noticeable, and more importantly the one who cause a lot of damage on his own (which is something they touched on in AoU too). The films are about people punching holes through walls, and the Netflix series are about those people whose walls got punched through.

This show is really doing interesting stuff with the 'mind control as rape metaphor' thing. I was worried when I first heard that that was a big thing in Jones' story, but they've handled it really well so far.

Dunno man. I've worked on a farm and sheep are dumb as fuck.

I loved the humanizing with Fisk because he seemed like he had real motivation, and you could almost see it from his perspective, but he was still a horrible person you wanted to see brought to justice. Made for an interesting change of pace.

Yeah at least our weirdly homophobic urban myths feature actual gay people

I'm not a fan of Welcome to the Monkey House (the story) because of the weird rape stuff in it. But the other stories are good.

- the production on every mainstream rock album in the early '00s

Pitchfork is really weird at the moment - the longform articles are generally really good and focus on areas that don't get a lot of mainstream coverage and they've done a number of articles on race and gender issues in music, but the reviews still are often highly dismissive and overeager to show you how cool the

It was a revenge attack for the Reno incident.

I feel like this one in particular benefits from being two parts - the book barrels through a lot of plot and is definitely in two distinct parts so it works. Instead of spinning out a bit of plot into extra films (like The Hobbits) this actually helps the material have some breathing room.
