It's far more well known that the original now, it seems.

Where the M. Bison Roam

When I saw the pictures that's the first thing I thought of.

I haven't actually (I didn't realize he'd written one) is it any good?

I get the impression that Fry is the better writer and Laurie the better performer, which is pretty easy to see especially in early Fry and Laurie.

I know that it is almost definitely to get a bit of light nudity into the films, but I like to read into it that in the future gender isn't so much of a big deal.

My parents had a VHS copy and it was the first 18 rated movie I saw when I was a little kid, so I'll always have a special place for it for that alone.

What a revoltin' development

"Oh no! Mecha-Kenneth Goldsmith!"

Hmm, I mean I read that more as 'If you are considering adultery, then you've as good as done it already.'

That is rather disingenuous though. No one is taking time out from protesting to instead campaign about wizard films, just pointing out that they are pretty whitewashed and if anything that is a symptom of those larger problems…

Yeah, it annoys me when more recent games are obviously catered towards the multiplayer and so have the bare minimum of a single player campaign, seemingly almost as a concession.

Yeah, I don't play FPS multiplayer because it just wasn't fun logging in and getting merced by someone who has put in 100s of hours and knows every single trick.

I remember when I used to play Call of Duty 1 and United Offensive on multiplayer. There were some interesting names there, some where designed to be amusing when you killed them. Like 'ABusFullOfChildren' or 'KennyYouBastard'

I think the problem is that unlike Bonnie Tyler it never quite fully commits to the melodrama, which makes it sound a bit weak. It would be a lot more fun if it went full Steinman.

Yeah, they were a fantastic band. They kinda both benefited from and suffered for having a visionary at the helm.

How is 'Streets of Philadelphia' cheesy?

I used to love it but I was very young and I don't want to watch it now because I know I'll probably think it's silly.

I make them with milk at home (I don't think cream in drinks is much of a thing in the UK either) and yeah, it tastes like a coffee milkshake so you can drink them without really registering that you're drinking alcohol until you get the wobbly boots…
