I’m a community college instructor, and my goal has always been to make books for my classes as affordable as possible. My college (and any other that really cares about its students) is going more and more to “open educational resources” that are largely (but not exclusively) digital and entirely free.

My latest unpleasant Kinja discovery is that when you want to read a reply to one of your comments by clicking on your account doohickey in the upper right, it brings you to the story but not the specific comment. As if I’m going to scroll through all the responses to find it.

I had the same experience with the transfer (no password) and have seen others mention it. Does anyone know if the “help” email that was given when the transition happened is still active and what it is? I’m pretty sure I could never find the original article that contained it.
