I'm pretty sure they get paid whether or not their rescuing somebody.

Are you kidding? The pay for working wildfires is huge! They're probably fighting for that assignment.

I think my base was ketchup rather than french dressing, but yes on the sugar. Lots and lots of sugar. (I didn't try the spit. Maybe that's what was missing.)

I loved Arby's "roast beef" sandwiches when I was a teenager. I remember spending an inordinate amount of time trying to reproduce their barbecue sauce so I could put it on stuff at home.

Usually the opposite is true.

My thought, too. For a brief moment I thought the photo was of Yvette Nicole Brown!

This line is how I learned what the word "moot" meant. I remember actually looking it up in the dictionary!

I was always unsure if it was "plight" or "blight".

I still have the Vacation soundtrack on vinyl, somewhere!

Are you kidding? In my family, this is THE movie we all quote. My 70 year old mother pulls out "Nothin' but the best!" at every family gathering. When I drove by the exit sign to East St. Louis a couple of years ago, I texted my brother a photo and "roll 'em up!" I could go on, but you get the idea. Of course I was 13

Sadish.

That was my take, too!

Party time on the Millennium Falcon!

Upvoted for "hepatitii".

Mine is for Dickey's Work Pants in English Red. The Amazon suggestions are becoming almost as entertaining as the articles.

Are you my sibling?

Yeah, I didn't mean that to come out as a "first world problems" sot of thing. I just thought that a newly-released Netflix exclusive would get a little more promotion.

Netflix isn't exactly featuring the documentary. I finally gave up looking for it under the usual categories, and had to type it into the search box.

Was she naked? She looked naked.

Why is this myth still perpetuated? She died of heart failure. This is not the sort of thing I normally give a shit about, but have fond memories of listening to her Dream a Little Dream album a lot when I was a little kid in the early 70's, and I always feel compelled to defend her memory from this "fat joke".
