Yes!! I have the same pre-1970s rule in my house! I am Christmas crazy with vintage everywhere! I am also the crazy person who puts a tree in every room (two in living room) - tons of work but the house just looks so magical at Christmastime so it’s totally worth it!

We had two OES growing up. They were the BEST DOGS. Great with our family with two rambunctious boys - they didn’t even mind us using them for pillows when we laid on the floor to watch tv. Such sweet creatures. RIP Samson and Buttons. 😢
