CA doesn’t allow write-ins unless they are for an official write-in candidate. Votes for someone other than the party candidates or official write-in candidates are not counted. Sanders did not file the paperwork to be an official write-in candidate. Voting for him does nothing.

Voting is not for squares. I experienced my two kids voting for the first time for the President of United States and they thought the privilege was very cool.
