Yeah, I think PFT and Big Cat need Barstool A LOT less than Barstool needs them, and there’s only so long that that can continue on before something gives.

Yeah, just saw the Zeke article. That was me being lazy. Still weird that there’s no trade articles, though.

Counting down the days before PMT breaks off from Barstool. The writing is on the wall.

Did Deadspin’s carrier pigeon get lost today or something? Zeke...Watkins...Matthews all in the same hour, and nothing?

I grew up in Philly. Half of the people I knew were named Jim and Joe.

Yeah, true.

And a big “Y” for effort for you, my friend.

I think this joke clearly went over everyone’s head.

Ha, nerd.

Remember when Joe West ruined the best moment of Armando Galarraga’s life?

I made this argument earlier. I knew soc majors who were way smarter and worked way harder than econ majors. There are good examples (bio is a hell of a lot harder than comm, for example), but that doesn’t seem to be a big gap.

Yeah, I was wondering about this too. Like is econ really that much harder than soc? I knew some dumb assholes who were econ majors.

“Hey man, fuck you”

Damn what a tragedy, Miami will go 8-8 instead of 9-7 now.

It will NEVER cease to amaze me how people cannot understand percentages and unknowingly provide stats that disprove their point.

This is actually true! I live in Pittsburgh, grew up in Philly, and my girlfriend was in college in NC for my first year in Pittsburgh. Took about 5 hours to get to the state line of NC and 4.5 hours to get to Philly. Also blew my mind that Baltimore was a solid 45 minutes closer to Pittsburgh than Philly is. And

6 hours?? As someone who grew up in Philly and lives in Pittsburgh now, that drive has never taken me more than 4 hours 45 mins. I’ve made it in a shade over 4 hours at low times (Sunday morning, late on weeknight, etc).

We think of him as one because of the time period he played in. But if he was playing today, he’d be in the Giannis/Draymond/Simmons category of taller guys who are primary ball handlers but are very, very different than traditional point guards. Calling Magic a PG is a disservice to how well he did everything.

Yeah sorry, I just meant nobody as in Albert or me or the top other comments on this post. I work in a stats-heavy field and we’re defending it constantly too.

Fucking everything, eh?
