I have not, but a rather interesting take on it if that’s true. The site merely calls it ‘ocean flower’, a ‘sea monster [which] erupts from the depths’, which doesn’t really fit Charybdis’ image as a hidden beast that prefers to use a giant whirlpool as its attack vector while Scylla takes the more direct approach.

wonderful art but this thing just doesn't appear to make any sense biologically.

People in the industry really like making these kinds of 'edgy' statements. I think they just like the attention.

When I skimmed the article, I assumed anyone actually trying this trick would line it with something heavy to give it realistic weight.

mayo is disgusting, so this works for me.

That’s uh...

omfg kinja is being extra stupid today.

‘Real Onigokko’ reads the title text at the bottom.

What the actual fuck. Really? Announce a four-month delay the week before the release date? =/

Damnit. So, basically, you just revealed that we get freaking TIME TRAVEL before we get quantum computing all figured out.

My impression has always been that SMBHs are a circumstance of their galaxy’s conditions, not the other way around. I’d wager you’re correct that these galaxies don’t have SMBHs, simply due to the more sparse arrangement of their stars and relatively even distribution of matter that would prevent it from coalescing at

Eugh no. I've used several of both and I'd take a Zune over an iPod any day.

I don’t particularly understand why the Zune is included to begin with. It was a commercial failure, that much is certain, but it was not a ‘bad’ product by any stretch of the imagination. Its failure was largely due to simply arriving late to a party ran by Apple that was nearly over to begin with.

lol no. rather just be smart about what you download/install.

Nah, wouldn’t be their style. On windows phone, all the bundled apps are easily and instantly removable, and I don’t imagine there’s any benefit in them changing that policy now.

thankfully, you can actually remove the dumb extra shit that comes installed with windows phone by default.

It means nothing. Consumers will still only need to choose between Home and Pro, and the choice isn't hard to make. Ultimately, the reason for multiple versions is that MS wants to make money from the advanced business/enterprise features, but doesn't want to burden home users with those costs. The current system is a

No need to mention it. Generally I believe the products include both x86 and x64 installations, unless you downloaded the ISOs. Also, I'd say we're at a point where all new systems released will be running x64 anyway, so it might actually be pretty likely that there won't be an x86 version at all.

Indeed. The situation is exactly as it has always been. Phones will have one version. Consumers will hardly need to think about it, but even when they have to choose the choice will boil down to either Home or Pro, and the decision isn't a hard one to make.

The only way MS could 'address' it is by disallowing paid apps period. MS really has no right to discriminate regarding charged apps. Ultimately though, the reason people sell their apps on the store is a simple one: they just can.
