it's kinda bad that today's Era Of The SJW makes it hard to determine whether someone referencing knights and damsels is being sincere or cynical.

actually you kinda can be sure about nearly everything; all you need is a decrypted dump of the ROM and knowledge of ARM assembly...

Quite simply, because there are windows applications (e.g. Media Center) available which take advantage of it and let you do things your TV alone otherwise couldn't do.

you probably just haven't been looking. A lot of modern screens are like that. All of my PC monitors at home have HDMI in, and no tv tuner.

because watching videos in portrait sucks, regardless of whether the video player supports it directly. better solution: make phones record video in landscape no matter how you hold your phone.

guess I'm doing pretty well for KY, a few K over the median.

R and L are completely different in English, yes, and the Japanese r* is neither of them, but is used to represent them because it's the closest there is. Japanese r* is pronounced somewhere between English R, L, and D, but is not identical to any of them. Meanwhile, even the Japanese have different ways of

Looks more like a danmaku/bullet-hell game than space invaders.

So you're saying it's not politically correct for anyone to change their skin color to accurately portray someone from another race? Just because blackface was a thing that ignorant people did in the past?

I imagine they don't think it's worth doing. "Who would use it? Apple/Linux users already unanimously hate it for whatever reason." Plus it would distract development resources that could be more efficiently spent on just making the browser better.

No wonder you had such a poor experience. Second-worst time in history to be a Windows user, next to the WinME days. That also was probably running IE7, which was Microsoft's very first step away from the dark ages, so I can only imagine how bad the experience was. Even I didn't come back to IE until around IE9.

when exactly was the last time you actually paid it any attention? IE has come a long way since the IE6 days...

Sure, why should anyone make their own browsers? Firefox, Opera and Apple should just pack up and go home, there's already Chrome. Who needs more than one of anything?

so you mean... like... the current IE? it's already pretty darn clean...

..green and gold? ew. ew ew ew ew ew. We can leave the halo references at the names, tyvm.

When was the last time they did that? Only recent case I can recall of anyone making their own language for their browser is Google with Dart. With microsoft, last time was what... VBS waaaay back in the day? Your comment has me kind of perplexed.

It's called a supermaterial because of its exceptional properties, not its practicality or usefulness.

moar chaika? moar chaika!

tell us how you really feel.

oh, that's not actually what I meant. I've never had any problems with it being too hot for my wrists or whatever; it's just that the amount of heat it generates means that noisy-ass fan is always running when I don't want it to, even in power-saving mode. =/
