he blocked it. or dodged it. definitely didn't pocket it, though.

I'm in the same boat. Meanwhile I just started a marathon of all the games with a friend of mine (who has never played any of them before) a few months ago, we've played through FR/LG, HG/SS, and R/S, and he's already caught two other shinies (a zubat and marowak)...
a stupid RICH motherfucker.
...and alienate everyone who already owns a 3DS. I'll be happier if they stick to the current setup.
Except Shiro's not actually a pedophile. Just an unabashed masochist. The pedophilia thing came from an episode 1 gag that flew right over early previewers' heads.
Then we'll just have to agree to disagree.
Generations was pretty great, I won't argue with that. I personally just find that the novelty of moving really fast and blazing through levels wears off pretty quickly, and makes it feel less interesting as a result. I liked the platforming, pacing, and exploration of the original games, whereas with the newer games…
And the video is wrong =) Hating on the old sonic games has been pretty popular as of late (because CONTROVERSY!), but it's entirely unfounded.
Yes, the character in the games is never outright called Gary, but cmon. That's totally who it is:
Sonic 2's robo-sonic was the original Mecha Sonic, and the rendition from S&K had the same name. Only the Sonic CD version was officially called Metal Sonic, and this one became the one that would reappear in later titles. Sonic 2 Mecha Sonic is sometimes referred to as Silver Sonic, though this is also incorrect and…
I can appreciate this fellow's views, however some of his notes do make me cringe. e.g. his links with the (totally non-canonical) archie comics, and his confusion regarding metal sonic / mecha sonic renditions.
Except that's completely incorrect. Sonic games became shit after the genesis era, when they started focusing on speed rather than momentum. The earliest sonic games were solid momentum-based platformers with intricately-designed levels, while the newer ones are mindless speed junk.
just depends on the steepness of the hill. The old-school sonic games were really about momentum, not speed. Sonic games became shitty once they decided to focus on speed rather than momentum.
The 'cheated' one is pretty fun. Just found this: http://nashville.craigslist.org/wan/4503687284…
Dunno if I've ever seen a tsundere meganekko. Can't think of any examples, anyway. If we were to give humanizing qualities to pokemon, I'd sooner think of glaceon as a tomboy type of character. Something about that mischevious smirk it's always got.
I don't really get why everyone seems to be hating on the lumias. I've dropped mine dozens of times and all that's happened is one corner is just a bit deformed. Dropped it one time at a concert and someone stepped on it, even. no scratches or anything.
edit - kinja being stupid, please ignore
yeah, that can be a bit touchy with the cops lol. Nowadays it's a lot easier to find fields to play at with 40+ players though. Good times.
