Not really. They are surprisingly fun to drive and feel pretty quick and the sound is very addictive.

As someone who has owned 3 914’s including my current one which I swapped a wrx engine into, it’s obvious that I think they great fun.

If it keeps my 43 year old Porsche from getting rear ended by some dumb teenage girl who is texting while driving her scion I’m all for it. I will enjoy driving my tin can in safety.
