It was a comment based on the fact that Tig Notaro was digitally placed into a film (“Army of the Dead”) to replace an actor (Chris D’Elia) who had been accused of sexual misconduct. Know your pop culture, dingus.

This just confirms my suspicion that the 2018 Halloween should have been a one-and-done film rather than the first part of a trilogy.

The trailer for this movie has a joke that says:

I love Billy, I am excited to see this movie, but honestly I just never go to the movies anymore. I genuinely can’t recall the last movie I saw in the theater. Maybe The Batman? It’s just not a thing I do anymore, and I don’t think I’m alone since the pandemic.

Haven’t seen SP, but it kinda sounds like the end of Blazing Saddles.

How is Kids not on this list? It absolutely induced more hysteria at the time than most of these movies.
