Hmmm...good question. I don’t think Hung’s bisexuality was much of a plot point? I’m guessing it has a lot to do with what they’re willing to talk about it in the confessionals.

If I knew how to post GIFs, there would be one of Kermit dancing in excitement about Amanda’s triumphant return.
I would have watched an hour of Midge honing her act. I cannot imagine how hard that must have been to write. “Okay, we need three punch lines. Each one is a little better than the last, but none are bad.”
I enjoyed it, but the fact that it’s only 30 minutes means it’s over before the plot can kick into high gear. Have they already said if they’re doing a second season?
Honestly, during Kinjapocalypse, I had a thought “Will Randall still be doing Top Chef?” Hootie-hoo, he is!
I was also happy about that, but was distracted by lust.
Very happy with Sheriff Keller’s upgrade to thirst trap.
Fair point.
Very cool to see two openly gay actors playing openly gay characters in a relationship. And neither died! I thought Leo was done for since Miller has said he’s leaving the Arrow-verse...I wish they had given him a little more reason for why he chose to stay on Earth-1, but I’m guessing we’ll get more of that next ep.
I assume Molly’s parents are gone because they’re all mutants in the comics, which Marvel doesn’t have the rights to. Not sure how they’re going to explain her powers then...
“I’ve flipped so many men they call me The Skillet.”
Interested where they’re going with Esme...she was the independent Cuckoo in the comics, if I remember correctly?
I see your “Anyone Can Whistle” reference, Allison. And I applaud it.
You’re totally entitled to feel that way, but to be clear, I was also alive throughout the entirety of the 80s.
On my husband’s recommendation, I binged this whole show and caught up in about three weeks. I’m now recommending it to everyone, one of the most entertaining shows currently on TV.
Totally right to call out the dialogue...it’s not heightened and comic enough to be pulpy and it’s not believable enough to be natural.
I think she’s a series regular again, so she’ll be in the credits every time regardless.
Claremont Movers!
I would like to officially request that the writers lampshade Katie McGrath’s extremely shaky American accent. Just drop in a throw-away line about Lena having spent years at a boarding school in England...I enjoy the character and performance, but that accent drives me nuts.
You have to realize that’s a false equivalency, right?
