@SKiTz: Sounds interesting, but why does he need helping out?

"And IBM has now developed Watson, a computer designed to beat humans at the game show Jeopardy. Watson, says IBM, is "designed to rival the human mind's ability to understand the actual meaning behind words, distinguish between relevant and irrelevant content, and ultimately, demonstrate confidence to deliver precise

@MeanMF: Thanks. I was gonna say, 10123 would be completely trivial and is not relatively much different to 10224. Even tic tac toe has 255,168 games.

The foxconn story is that there is no story. Some media outlet had a slow news day, didn't understand statistics and reported the suicides. Newsflash: people commit suicide. Another newsflash: There are shitty jobs all over the world, at least foxconn employees appear to be well paid (in comparison to others jobs in

@PAULINK: I don't think it's the 3d part that's power sucking, just the hardware in general.

@Serpent2: I did exactly the same thing :) E-ink would be even better if it becomes cheap to manufacture in large sizes, so you could replace large wall pictures around the house with it and change them with a click as the mood took you, or on a timer. You could even arrange it so that it made sure the colour matched

@Yeah!: Not just Kat, they all are :(

Good reason, assuming you're not up to anything, to make sure you never encrypt something and loose the password.

Cool, might result in a vaguely usable digital picture frame too :)

Shame it makes it look like you're walking into a toilet. I'll take the spillage, thanks.

@Asraiil: Heh, what ya gonna do? Cheaters gonna cheat.

I love the way the Daily Mail feel they have to use iPhone in their headline rather than mobile or just 'phone.

@theculturedealer: That's really not relevant to my comment. I was trying to make the point that it was a poor choice of word given it's context as an adjective. Better would have been "Hungary in State of Emergency After Waves of Toxic Caustic Mud Pour Out of Chemical Plant".

"Hungary in State of Emergency After Waves of Toxic Burning Mud Pour Out of Chemical Plant"

@#1 STUNNA: Wow, those are some pretty big statements. Presumably you're an expert in the field?

@Guy451: It's only in the air for a few seconds, I doubt that would be enough.

@Neko_Tech: I dunno, have a fan pointing at the surface or put a heat exchanger in it - might work well?

@superberg: "3G speeds aren't enough for streaming gaming"

@OreoExplosion: 3.5G is perfectly adequate client bandwidth-wise if you can get a signal. 3G is sufficient as long as you're not attempting anything epic. Don't know what the latencies are like.
