“In the review, Clarkson commented on the poor range of the car, which lasted just 55 miles on a race track, and claimed that it took an eye-watering 16 hours to top the battery up once again.”

Are we really arguing that tesla programming cars to operate more naturaly is a bad thing?
It’s real weird to for two people to confidently pontificate about an event that happened a decade and a half ago, which neither of them witnessed, on a TV show that neither of them were involved with at the time.
So some dudes got high watching old Jame Bond movies and thought “we could totally do that!!”
Most of the time. My Jaguar F-Type SVR has an obnoxious crackle tune from the factory. I can make it make as much noise as I want on command. I cannot make it be quiet on command.
How would it fine a group of bikers? Would it fine just the first when it detects a violation or all of them even if half were on HD Zeroes or if a straight pipe bike was next to an electric vehicle? Noise violations may be the worst application of unwitnessed ticketing, red light, speed cameras even are still better…
If we’re being honest, I’m willing to bet more people’s ears were damaged by a crying child, than a loud car (excluding track only vehicles). I mean I understand the difference, human life especially a child > glorious revving machines even if I’m not a kid person, and to be courteous and understanding as possible.…
We should absolutely be fining loud babies. Lots of people enjoy the sound of a Lambo, no one is saying “oh cool a screaming baby”
Which the Feds should supersede that
Sleeping babies are usually pretty quiet, awake babies can be outrageously noisy.
Go to a track you clearly have the money.
“Speeding is dangerous! Speeding is one of the most common driving violations and one of the leading causes of all fatalities in the road.”
C’mon, Monterey. You used to be cool...
Field sobriety test = cop works hard to notice anything, even things that aren’t there. Like drug sniffing dogs trained to “indicate” on command, usually a small sound or hand signal, the Field sobriety test is a fake-out to claim “reasonable suspicion” and “probable cause.”
the best part is even if/after they fix the headline, the url will remain :)
These Brits cannot still get over 2021 😂Fucking ridiculous article
I’m old enough to have seen revered drivers, people like Senna and Schumacher, perform acts that would get you banned from the sport now. I agree this was whiny and petty, but it’s hardly unheard of from “championship caliber” drivers.
Am I the only one getting auto-forwarded to the Root as the first “related” article pixel that pops up at the bottom of the article or the end of the comments.
This, people don’t realize how cheap the base Macan can actually be. They start in the mid-50s. A bump of $12k moves this up an entire category where it is competing in price against larger/more upscale cars.
$12,400 increase over the ICE version for the base EV is not as insignificant as you make it out to be. The Macan is the biggest volume seller because it is the entry point for most people to Porsche. The more that base price goes up the less people will buy them. Add to that the insecurities of people about EV’s and…
