Living in a country with > 100% taxes on cars, I’m pretty sure 25% won’t break your backs.

After listening to Howard Lutnick’s testimony today, I would agree on a single point. Some countries have placed roadblocks of their own that have made importation of American Cars (and other products) artificially difficult.

I give police officers all the credit in the world: Along with the military, they risk their lives doing a job that few of us would want, for lousy pay.

While I agree with your points in the article, it is the unfortunate reality of making content for YouTube. Click baity titles, that aren’t actual clickbait, the so called “YouTube Face”, crazy thumbnails are all required to make money and “game” the algorithm to get views. Matt Farrah has talked about it numerous

The amount of outright lying exposed by cops since the invention of the bodycam is truly startling. They know they are being recorded, and yet still lie constantly and commit crimes, to the point that basically anything before, say 2010 or thereabouts, we should assume all the cops lied all the time, about everything.

Looks like the Beetle was the only one that didn’t roll over.

That might have been true if he was looking for a job 6 months ago. Everyone else has contracted drivers for 2025 and Sergio Perez has proven he isn’t worth breaking those contracts to hire. He’s going to get a big “go away” payday from Red Bull and fuck off to drive a Genesis Hypercar at Le Mans or something. Which,

Brad, can you give us a little more back round into your association with the automotive world exactly? From what you put out it sounds like you’re a few years fresh out of college rolling around in a second hand car. This site was made for people with actual automotive passion, or a deep connection and understanding

Technically, you’re correct because there was no threat issued beforehand, but the 1990 title-deciding race at Suzuka was more blatant than any Max move. And...no penalty. It was no-holds-barred in those days.

Just of shy of 3 days to cross the Atlantic by sea? That’s damned impressive.

I’ll never understand people who think something like this - with a footprint as big as an older S-Class - could in anyway deliver on the 911 experience, which is all about agility and connection.

Trump just won, without any scare quotes.

I think it’s bigger than that though. I have friends in high end banking / law (I’m but a humble public servant) - and it’s not just a self perception thing for them. The idea that a car (and a suit / watch / shoes / pen / drink / house / etc) form an integral part of your marketed image bit is foisted on them by

ACAB.

This wasn’t even a police chase, makes this even more senseless.

Spoken like someone who doesn’t have to work on modern shitboxes.

This seems like an inappropriate thing to write about for a number of reasons.

He’s right though. As cars become more like appliances, less and less soulful cars will exist.
