I’ve started having COVID nightmares too. They seem to have finally replaced the “I didn’t attend this class all semester and now the final’s coming up” dreams.

I always hated the front end of the current generation Mini, in every iteration. Just so plump and bloated and they never found a lower front bumper treatment that didn’t look downright stupid. This takes the cake, tho. What a shit show.

DeMuro is on a whole new level of annoying.

I couldn’t agree more. Cars are created (and engineered) to be driven and enjoyed, not stashed away to sell one day. I feel like showing off a cool car should be encouraged in that it shares the joy of that car with the car-loving population.  And Jay’s love for cars exists on multiple levels, and is quite contagious

Bucket list car right there. I would die a happy man even if I had just 10 minutes to drive it.

I, for one, am adoring Jay’s “Pandemic-edition” videos. No PR people marketing a new vehicle. No videos that almost feel like an “obligation” that Jay is trudging through. Just him and one of his own cars, or a car he’s borrowing, that he is truly, truly passionate about.

Ford era Volvo seats are God tier

Biggest crime currently happening at fiat is the mismanagement of Lancia

Damnit Manwich why I do I have to agree with you so much? And Ill take Jeep. Make a 2 door Jeep Pickup, and a cheap wrangler. 2 Door, 4 cylinder, 4X4 only, manual everything, starts at 18K. Hell spray in flooring if itll keep the price down, or rubber mats. Hard top costs extra. Grand cherokee and grand wagoneer are

now coming across the block is a 2021 srt durango. theses are highly sought after and collectible you wont see another opportunity to bid on one of these.... next on the block is a 2021 srt durango, this time in black...

Have you read any of Jalopnik’s other economic analysis? “Anyone wealthier than me is evil, unions are inherently good, everyone should pay more taxes so things I personally care about are better funded”.

In the first day.

VANOS issues and repairs are blown way out of proportion. If you start hearing the dreaded ticking from the VANOS, you can send the units to Dr. VANOS for a rebuild which will only set you back around $2K or less if you can pull them from your car without a mechanic.

This is my favorite generation of M3, and this is a beautiful example - but I can’t imagine spending that much one.
Reluctant ND from me.

Technically by interior volume the Ridgeline and Gladiator are both full size trucks. Maybe also by body and track width as well (I think 70" and 66" respectively are the required minimums). The Tacoma doesn’t count because of interior size despite meeting the width requirements.

I dunno, it’s all fucking arbitrary.

I sold a 2yo Fiata to Carmax and bought a 9yo 128i from a BMW dealer this past summer. I think I got rather more for the Fiata than normal, and paid only a little more than normal for the BMW, so it worked out for me. Even with sales taxes paid and registration of the BMW, it was about zero out of pocket for me to do

Prices are insane.

I know exactly one person who drives a Land Cruiser. His name is Robert, and he’s an engineer from Seattle. We met because we hired the same architect to design our houses.

Literally no one would sell you that truck for $3k. That’s an almost insulting lowball.

The Cherokees and Comanches are very plug and play. The 2wd front axle is just a solid tube axle with the exact same mounting as the 4wd axle. That is just a bolt on. Swapping the transmission and transfer case is a little bit more but I believe is just a crossmember relocation. I think the dash may even have the 4wd
