Mine is alway excited to find small spots in traffic to shoot through. Oh and tight parking spots.

This would be the perfect commuter for me. 4 mile commute. However, the pricing just doesn't pay off, I can't justifiably replace a paid off reliable daily even though it only gets low 20s mpg. The fuel cost savings probably wouldn't even pay off the extra insurance premium.
13 feet seems reasonable, only a whole 3 feet longer than a Samuari. I bet it would be a brilliant little vehicle if it actually ends up being a smaller Wrangler. It will also make the two door Wrangler irrelevant.
Depends a lot on the tire profile. There is a plentiful selection of really boring passenger car tires for my 99 Oldsmobile eighty eight. The trouble I have with getting tires for it is I really like the one inch white wall look on the car, very few manufacturers make those any more. I now rock Mastercraft tires on…
Does anybody else feel like there is a difference between premium look and actually premium? I noticed this when my parents traded in their 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited for a brand new 18 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The new one feels really cheap inside, the materials and controls feel cheap compared to the 97. The…
In the 20 years that my parents had a 97 ZJ with the 4.0, I’d never once heard that they were famous for transmission troubles. We did have a few electrical problems. The biggest issue was with the engine, it would randomly stumble and cough and more or less have a seizure when driving. That Jeep spent countless weeks…
In my recent research, I too have been coming to the conclusion that the perfect year XJ and or MJ is a 91 or 92. Though I will admit, there is nothing wrong with the renix system. I had an 88 MJ with the BA-10 transmission too, it worked well. Surprisingly fuel efficient and the smoothest, torquiest inline 6 I’ve…
I with you. I’m a 28 year old engineer, and simply dispise current auto interfaces. It takes so many steps to get to the useful functions that all used to be single buttons. This is one reason I love my e36, it has dedicated buttons for the three features I use most, radio presets, hvac, and heated seats. In my…
This is the only car that I have seen at an auto show in the last 10 years that made me think, "I would buy this, actually I really want this, seriously please take my Money!" No other design has excited me this much, It is quite the sharp design, bold enough to ditch the flame surfaced bubbles of the last 15 years. …
The iDx was the first thought in my mind when I read the title to this article. I have always thought the beige concept car was the winner. It just looks amazing, proportioned perfectly. Absolutely love the c pillar treatment.
Nissan iDx. I was so dissapointed to hear it wasn't actually going to happen.
I had the full GP rear seat delete and strut bar in my R56 Mini. The bar was in the perfect position to hold onto like being in a roller coaster. Several of my friends road places that way.
My Austin Healey Sprite runs 13s with awesome high 80 profile tires.
If they offer it with a manual like the concept electric Mustang they recently had, then I don't care what it looks like, sign me up! This thing could be a lot sleeker.
My parents traded in their relatively small 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They strongly considered a Wrangler but decided on towing capacity being more important. I have towed a 3000 lb car with it twice and it does so without you even knowing the car is back there. However my parents…
I got to drive the Opel version of the Chevy Trax and it was brilliant. It have a very good 1.6L turbo diesel and a 6 speed manual, by in far the most fun rental car I've ever driven. Too it was in France as I'd have absolutely considered that vehicle as a daily. I drive the Trax when I go back to the US and it was…
I use them all the time in my 99 BMW M3 and 99 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight. Yes, both of my daily drivers are from 99, as well as my project car. I also have a 62 Sprite, which incidentally, I've also used a cassette adapter in the aftermarket Pioneer deck.
I am excited to see a big company toy with the concept of a manual in an electric car. It differentiates it among the sea of soulless but brutally quick electric machines. The first thing I thought when the Mini SE was revealed was, it would be brilliant with a manual. Rather low power electric, where you could get…
Chrysler has enough crazy in them to do something great here. Too bad at this point all the old AMC influence is retired as they were the real nuts behind awesome 90s Chrysler. Combined with the wonderful quirky folks over at Citroën and the excellent stylists over at Peugeot, I can't see how this could go wrong. …
I have seen a supra a few times prowling around Erie, PA. No new Z4s. The only Bmw Z cars you see here are Z3s and occasionally a first gen Z4.
