Depends on the chassis. I always thought my FWD Oldsmobile 88 would do extremely well off road with a few inch lift and some narrow knobby tires.  The high amount of factory suspension articulation is probably what makes me think that.

My Oldsmobile 88 had a cornering G sensitive blower motor, turn right and it sped up, go straight it kind of blew slowly, turn hard left, it would stop all together. In the winter I didn’t care about my blower motor G meter enough to keep it as a feature.

I have a 62 Sprite. It has ruined most new cars for me. I hate power brakes, the feel of manual hydraulics is fantastic. The nice notchy shifter, manual steering, non self canceling turn signals, it’s all great and so visceral.  Modern lights were a good improvement though.

I spent the summer driving a Jeep Comanche short bed. It felt a little large and quite tall to me.  I can't imagine threading larger trucks through traffic or down narrow PA back roads.
