I don’t see the refs when I’m on the ice, until I’m cycling and find one of them right where I’m going. A good ref is “Invisible” anyway, I’ve hit them more often with the puck than anything. You look at the colors on your team and the team against.. the ref’s colors hardly appear to me sometimes.

I am an ice hockey official and worked beer leagues for years. I will absolutely attest to this.
